Dein Zimmer ist mit 7m² das kleinste und gemütlichste Zimmer in der WG und befindet sich im hinteren Teil der WG (dort ist es auch schön leise, wenn im Wohnzimmer Party ist 😉). In dem Zimmer steht ein großes Bett und es gibt etwas Stauraum (zwei Wandregale und ein Einbauregal). Das Zimmer ist wirklich gemütlich und ein guter Rückzugsort nach einem anstrengend Tag. Weiterer Stauraum (Einbauschrank) sowie ein Schreibtisch zum Arbeiten befinden sich im zweiten Vorraum direkt vor deinem Zimmer. Außerdem kann man gut im großem und hellen Wohnzimmer abhängen, arbeiten oder chillen. Das Zimmer ist also ideal für jemanden der eine Rückzugsort braucht, aber sich auch gerne im Allgemeinbereich aufhält.
Die Wohnung befindet sich im 4ten Stock und hat 138m2, 4 Schlafzimmer, ein sehr großes Wohnzimmer, eine Küche, ein Bad mit Badewanne, ein Bad mit Dusche (welches du dir mit einer zweiten Person teilen würdest), 2 WC's, 2 Vorzimmer und einen Verbindungsgang. In einem der Bäder befindet sich eine Waschmaschine, zusätzlich kann auch die Waschküche am Dachboden benutzt werden.
Da es sich ursprünglich um zwei zusammengelegte Wohnungen handelt, gehört uns die gesamte Etage und der dazugehörige kleine Balkon wird dann nur von uns verwendet. Die Wohnung wird über eine Zentralheizung mit neuwertiger Gastherme beheizt. Heizkörper sind in allen Zimmern mit Außenwänden sowie in den Badezimmern vorhanden. Ein Raumthermostat befindet sich im Wohnzimmer.
Noch dazu gibt es am Dach eine Gemeinschaftsterrasse auf der in Ruhe gelesen, gequatscht oder im Sommer auch gegrillt werden kann!

At 7m², your room is the smallest and cosiest room in the shared flat and is located at the back of the flat (it's also nice and quiet there when there's a party in the living room 😉). There is a large bed in the room and some storage space (two wall shelves and a built-in shelf). The room is really cosy and a good place to retreat to after a busy day. Further storage space (built-in wardrobe) and a desk for working are located in the second anteroom directly in front of your room. You can also hang out, work or chill out in the large and bright living room. The room is therefore ideal for someone who needs a retreat but also likes to spend time in the communal area.
The flat is located on the 4th floor and has 138m2, 4 bedrooms, a very large living room, a kitchen, a bathroom with bathtub, a bathroom with shower (which you would share with a second person), 2 WC's, 2 anterooms and a connecting corridor. There is a washing machine in one of the bathrooms, and you can also use the laundry room in the attic.
As it was originally two flats that were combined, the entire floor belongs to us and the small balcony is only used by us. The flat is heated by central heating with a new gas boiler. There are radiators in all rooms with external walls and in the bathrooms. There is a room thermostat in the living room.
There is also a communal terrace on the roof where you can read, chat or have a barbecue in the summer!
Die Lage ist ideal. In wenigen Gehminuten erreicht man sowohl die U4 Station Kettenbrückengasse als auch die U1 Station Taubstummengasse. Dazwischen einige Bim Stationen, Busse gibt's auch, und zum Karlsplatz sind es höchstens 15 min zu Fuß. Mit dem Fahrrad ist man dann eh sofort überall in Wien.
Neben den gängigen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es noch viele kleine unabhängige Geschäfte, coole Bars und Restaurants, ein paar Ateliers und alles was du sonst noch brauchst. Kulinarisch versorgen kann einen außerdem der keine 10 Minuten entfernte Naschmarkt und sämtliche Asia-Supermärkte, die daran angrenzen. Unser Stammlokal befindet sich im Block.
Trotz der zentralen Lage hört man durch die wenig befahrene Straße wenige Autos, es kann im Sommer mit offenem Fenster geschlafen werden. Die Wohnung befindet sich im 4. Stock an der Kreuzung zweier Einbahnstraßen.

The location is ideal. In a few minutes walk you can reach both the U4 station Kettenbrückengasse and the U1 station Taubstummengasse. In between, there are several tram stations, buses are also available, and Karlsplatz is a maximum of 15 minutes walk. With the bike you are immediately everywhere in Vienna.
In addition to the usual shopping opportunities, there are many small independent stores, cool bars and restaurants, a few studios and everything else you need. Culinary supplies can also be found at the Naschmarkt, which is less than 10 minutes away, and all the Asian supermarkets adjacent to it. Our regular pub is located on the block.
Despite the central location, you can hear few cars through the little-traveled street and you can sleep with an open window in the summer. The apartment is located on the 4th floor at the intersection of two one-way streets.
Das WG-Leben ist bei uns sehr entspannt. Mal ist bei allen viel los, mal weniger. Wir finden meistens Zeit zum Kochen und tun es auch gerne für weitere WG Mitbewohner:innen, manchmal holen wir uns Pizza für einen entspannten Abend. Wir laden gerne Leute bei uns ein und genießen die Zeit zusammen.
Da David und Johanna nächstes Semester auf Erasmus gehen, werden zwei Zimmer frei. Johann und Paulina bleiben in der Wohnung und freuen sich schon auf neue Gesichter.
Paulina (25) studiert Bioinformatik in der Uni Wien, was sehr zeitintensiv ist. Sie liebt Gesellschaftsspiele und hat die WG nach ihren Einzug um dutzende Spiele reicher gemacht. Sie ist im Handwerk geübt und strickt sehr gerne (viele ihrer Pullover hat sie selbst gemacht). Sie unternimmt auch gerne was und ist bei gutem Wetter oft bei einer Grünfläche beim Spikeball spielen zu finden.
Johann (27) studiert Raumplanung im Master und arbeitet nebenbei in einem Verkehrsplanungsbüro. Seine größte Leidenschaft ist wohl das Radfahren (und generell Radverkehr), dicht gefolgt von öffentlichem Verkehr, Städten und dem Stadtleben und allem, was in der Natur so kreucht und fleucht. In seinem Alltagleben ist die Wohnung immer seine Base, von wo er alle Unternehmungen startet, und gerne auch mal spontan ist. Fensterputzen tut er auch gerne.
Wir freuen uns schon neue Gesichter kennenzulernen und zusammen Sachen zu unternehmen!

Life in our shared flat is very relaxed. Sometimes there's a lot going on for everyone, sometimes less. We usually find time to cook and are happy to do so for other flatmates, sometimes we get pizza for a relaxed evening. We like to invite people round and enjoy our time together.
As David and Johanna are going on Erasmus next semester, two rooms will become available. Johann and Paulina are staying in the flat and are already looking forward to seeing new faces.
Paulina (25) is studying bioinformatics at the University of Vienna, which is very time-consuming. She loves board games and has added dozens of games to the flat share since moving in. She is skilled in handicrafts and loves knitting (she has made many of her jumpers herself). She also enjoys doing things and can often be found playing spikeball in a green area when the weather is good.
Johann (27) is studying for a Master's degree in spatial planning and works part-time in a traffic planning office. His greatest passion is probably bicycles (and cycling in general), closely followed by public transport, cities and city life and everything that creeps and flies in nature. In his everyday life, his flat is always his base, from where he starts all his endeavours and likes to be spontaneous. He also enjoys cleaning windows.
We are looking forward to meeting new faces and doing things together!
