As I move out of my lovely WG-room for a new job, I look for the next owner of this lovely&toasty room near Elterleinplatz.
All the furniture stays in the room except the little white bedside table and decorated items such as covers, frames and lights. I also did not need to buy anything when I moved in since the lovely room was with all this great set of furniture. There are also two huge, I mean HUGE, closets sitting in the room, with another massive couch, a desk and shelves. When it comes to the furniture, no one would possibly need anything more as the room pretty much have everything; ) I've used them very clean and tidy so you need not worry!
Only one thing is that I bought a new mattress a few months ago and haven't used them much because I mostly sleep on the big couch. You can buy it from me after seeing its condition. I can also take it out with me, and leave the old mattress!
To give you more insights, outside the window lies a lovely yard which gives you a very calm, quiet and peaceful atmosphere to chill. You'll never be bothered by any noises coming from the road, in this cozy room you can have your chilled moments whenever you want.
(Do not worry, I'm only writing partly in English but the person who lives in the flat is a German native speaker with a fluent level of English!)

The building is located in the beautiful 17th district, near Elterleinplatz. The area here is very quite and just residential, still within a few minutes from the Grütel. (U6 Alserstrasse)
MERKUR is just around the conner from our flat, and all the shops such as Lidl, Billa, BIPA, and DM are all within a 5 minutes distance. In 100 meters you can take the tram 43 in Hernalserhauptstrasse, or the trams 9 and 2 at Mayssengasse which take you to the city centre. Especially with the tram 43, you can reach main Uni campus (AAKH) within 10-15 minutes and to Schottentor (U2) within 20 minutes.
Quite a bit of highlight is the Ottakringerbrauerei in the 16th district is also about 10 minutes away; ) Also the bar, 'Jetzt' is basically next door! It is 'the' famous local pub in the neighbourhood, with a beautiful little garden and really pleasant people.

Die Wohnung befindet sich im schönen 17. Bezirk, nähe des Elterleinplatz. Die Gegend hier ist ein sehr ruhiges Wohngebiet, man ist dennoch in wenigen Minuten gleich am Gürtel (U6 Alser Strasse).
Einkaufstechnisch ist ein riesengroßer MERKUR Supermarkt keine 20 Meter von der Haustür entfernt, der einem keine Wünsche offen lässt. Nicht weit ist aber auch der Brunnenmarkt, einer der schönsten und lebendigsten Märkte Wiens. Alle anderen großen Namen (BILLA, Hofer, LIDL) sind allerdings auch keine 5 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Und alle möglichen Imbissbuden, Restaurants, natürlich auch. Es ist nunmal Wien
100 Meter entfernt an der Hernalser Hauptstrasse fährt die Strassenbahnlinie 43 im 3 Minutentakt direkt in 10 Minuten zum Schottentor und damit zur Innenstadt. Auch die Ottakringerbrauerei im 16. Bezirk ist nicht weit.
Das Highlight ist hier jedoch das "Jetzt", welches auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite des Innenhofs liegt und auch ca. 20 Meter entfernt ist. Das Jetzt ist, und da bin ich mir nach 3 Jahren Wien mittlerweile fast sicher, die wohl schönste und gemütlichste Kneipe Wiens mit einem schönen Gastgarten und super angenehmen Leuten. Abends im Sommer hört man noch bei offenem Fenster noch die Gelächter und die Gläser anstoßen. Aber auch hier keine Sorge, ab 22h wird der Garten immer (leider) geschlossen und von der Bar sonst hört man wirklich nichts.
Und ein abschließender Fun Fact: In unserer Strasse (Weissgasse) wurde im Oktober 1957 nichts geringeres als das Getränk Almdudler erfunden!
You will live with Lucas (26) and another new comer: )
Lucas moved in from Bayern last October, for his master's in International Business Administration. There will be another new person moving in at the same time, so the lifestyle can be pretty much open! The WG life here has been very relaxed, and it's definitely not a purpose WG. We'd eat or drink together sometimes, but also had quiet evenings any time we wanted. I am sure this flat will give you a pleasant atmosphere: )
I'm already having quite a bit of request for a visit.
So, please write me a little bit of message about you, where you're from or what you do, with other basic information etc., so that you can know about you! (Either in German or English is fine.) I'll share the information with my flatmates here, and write you back shortly to set up a visit-plan.
Since there is not much time till February, I'd prefer someone who's available for a visit asap and for moving in on the 1st February: )
