My name is Belén, and I come from Nicaragua. My boyfriend Sasha and I are planning to start a WG in a nice 3-room flat with a well-equipped kitchen in the 3rd District. Sasha and I will be sharing one of the rooms, and your room would be a 20m^2 (unfurnished). The plan is that we make the 3rd room of the flat into a living room :)
Your room is quite sunny as the flat is located in the 6th floor and it has big, new windows. The flat itself is quiet, well-insulated and has nice wooden floors.The toilet and the bathroom are separate, and there is a bathtub.
The room costs 440 Euro in total, with everything included (gas, electricity, internet...). If you are a couple, this would mean each of you pays 220 Euro.
The building is rather new, located in a parallel street of the Rennweg. The flat is quiet, and the location is great:
- It is very close to the botanical garden and the Belvedere.
- The Renweg train station is less than 5 min away by foot.
- The Hauptbahnhof is also close by.
- The trams 71 is 50 meters away and the trams O and 1 are also close by, so you can reach the city center in no time.
- Eurospar, Billa and Hofer are right by the flat.
- The Wien Mitte shopping center is less than 10 minutes away
I am a Master student of Molecular Biology at the UniWien and I have been living in Vienna for 6 years already. I am now working in my one-year master's thesis project at the Vienna BioCenter (which is very close to the flat). Sasha just moved to Vienna from Russia to start with his Masters at WU, Socio-Ecological Economy and Policy.
I am a relaxed and uncomplicated person. I really enjoy sharing food and cooking vegetarian meals with my flatmates. I'm generally up for a nice glass of wine at the end of the day. In my free time I like to learn about different topics like science, philosophy, art, illustration, Latin American politics and culture, and wasting my time watching YouTube videos.
Sasha is from the Caucasus mountains. He likes playing music and is particularly interested in sustainable development of rural mountain regions. He likes to have interesting conversations over a cup of tea. He enjoys cycling and going bouldering from time to time.
I speak German, Spanish and English, while Sasha speaks English, Russian and is learning German. It is important for us to have a home-like, friendly atmosphere, sharing meals and hanging out from time to time, while respecting each other's private lives. We enjoy visiting museums, biking in beautiful places and watching interesting films. We don't want a Party-WG. Smoking and pets are not allowed.
The flat right now is being slightly renovated, but we have the keys and will be living there from the second half of December. Thus, we can arrange visits from the 15th of December and on. We will upload more pictures after the renovation is done :)
We are looking for a friendly, clean and a respectful individuals, who speak English. It would of course be nice if you are a student/researcher as well, so we could complain about academia together :) It would be great to hang out from time to time :)
