I am leaving for the summer time and I am looking for a person to rent my room for these 3 months.
The 24m2 "altbau" room has a high ceiling, parquet wooden floor and is quite bright. Due to the good sound isolation it is very quiet, there is almost no street noise with closed windows.
The room is equipped with a double bed, a 160x200 cm, firm, relatively new IKEA memory foam mattress, 2 white wooden commodes, a wooden wardrobe, a dimmable LED lamp, a fully adjustable office chair, a bedside cabinet and a height adjustable desk.
It is also possible to rent the room unfurnished.
The flat
The dining room is the main public room. Next to that there is a well equipped kitchen (dishwasher, microwave oven, kettle, dishes and tools...), a bathroom and a separate toilet.
The flat is on the corner of Taborstrasse and Obere Augartenstrasse. It is hard to emphasise how great the location is: the second district is probably the nicest area of Vienna.
The barrier free access to the underground line U2 is 10 meters away, there are bus and tram stops within 50 metres. The area is full of restaurants, street food kiosks, food shops, drugstores, services... The huge baroque park Augarten is within walking distance and is visible from the windows.
There is a laid back communal life: Sam (from Austria) is barely ever home and uses his room as a drone building and 3D printing workshop, while Samuel (from Germany) is finishing his fine art studies now and planning to move to Berlin in October. The flat-share is likely to be dissolved by the end of September.
The text has been written in English to meet the needs of everyone who is looking for a room. The official language of the flat is German but English is spoken on a regular base and is no problem. A person who would rent the room for the full 3 months, or almost for the full period would be recommended. If you cant come in person we can organise a skype talk.
