Dein Zimmer wäre eins der drei Zimmer in der Wohnung. Vermutlich das mittlere Zimmer (siehe den wunderschön gezeichneten Wohnungsplan :D ). Wenn du lieber das Zimmer bei der Küche (das linke) hättest, können wir das auch gerne ändern. Dein Zimmer hat 20 m², wobei ein Teil (ca. 2 m²) vom begehbaren Schrank eingenommen wird. Das Zimmer zwei große Fenster, welche Richtung Straße rausgehen. Die Straße ist aber zum Glück kaum befahren und dadurch sehr ruhig. Die Fenster sind westseitig, sprich am Nachmittag scheint die Sonne in das Zimmer, jedoch ist es aufgrund des 1. Stockes und dem Nachbargebäude natürlich nicht das hellste Zimmer. Den zahlreichen Pflanzen meines ehemaligen Mitbewohners hat das aber nie gestört :D, sollte also ganz ok sein. Aja und der braune Couchsessel ist schon weg und das Bett kommt auch weg, wenn du es nicht brauchst.
Die Wohnung hat insgesamt 90 m² und ist über den 10 m² Balkon zu erreichen, dadurch kann man leider nicht den gesamten Balkon nutzen. Der Balkon ist mMn. dennoch ein Highlight der Wohnung, da er sich im Innenhof befindet (mit ganz lieben Nachbarn) und man morgens von der Sonne gewärmt wird. Außerdem gibt es jede Menge Platz für Pflanzen (möchte dieses Jahr gerne Erdbeeren, Physalis, Himbeeren und Minikiwi anpflanzen - alles außer den Erdbeeren sind verhandelbar ;) ).
Das Esszimmer und die Küche sind ein Raum. Für mich sind die Highlights der Küche die "Kochinsel", die Siebträgermaschine und die Pflanzenpalette (mit integriertem Discolicht hahaha). Du wirst dir außerdem die Küche mit ca. 1000 Kompostwürmern teilen (habs sie jetzt nicht durchgezählt um ehrlich zu sein), welche fleißig den anfallenden Biomüll zersetzen.
Da es eine 2er WG ist, können wir das dritte Zimmer als Wohnzimmer nutzen. Lukas und ich haben einen Beamer für dieses Zimmer gekauft, welchen er mir dankenswerterweise überlassen hat. Im Zimmer befindet sich eine gemütliche Couch und zwei Fernsehsessel. Außerdem habe ich dort mein Rudergerät stehen, welches du gerne mitnutzen kannst. (damit es zumindest eine Person nutzt :D )
Bad und Klo sind getrennt. Im Bad haben wir leider keine Badewanne, nur eine Dusche. Dort steht auch die Waschmaschine.
Es gibt leider kein Kellerabteil, auch keinen Fahrradraum und keinen Aufzug.
Ich freue mich über live-Besuche, online ließe sich natürlich auch arrangieren. Bin geimpft und werde auch versuchen zum Zeitpunkt des Besuchs getestet zu sein. Gerne auch mit Maske, wenn du das möchtest. Jede/r soll sich wohlfühlen - gib einfach Bescheid!

Hello future flatmate :)
Your room would be one of three rooms in the apartment. Probably the middle one (see the beautifully drawn apartment plan :D ), but that's negotiable. Your room has 20 m², 2m² of which are taken by the walk-in closet. The room has two big windows, which are facing the street. Fortunately, the street is less trafficked and therefore very quiet. The windows are west-facing, meaning that in the afternoon the sun shines into the room, but due to the 1st floor and the neighboring building, it is of course not the brightest room. However, that was never an issue for the numerous plants of my former roommate, hence it should be ok. Also the brown couch chair is already gone and the bed can also be removed if you do not need it.
The apartment has a total of 90 m² and is accessible via the 10 m² balcony, so unfortunately one can not use the entire balcony. The balcony is one of the highlights of the apartment, because it is located in the courtyard (with nice neighbors). In the morning hours you are welcomed by the sun. Also, there is plenty of space for plants (I would like to plant strawberries, physalis, raspberries and mini kiwi this year - everything except the strawberries are negotiable ;) ).
The dining room and kitchen are combined into one room. For me, the highlights of the kitchen are the "cooking island", the espresso machine and the plant palette (with built-in disco light hahaha). You will also share the kitchen with about 1000 compost worms (haven't counted them to be honest), which have the honorable task of decomposing our organic waste.
Since it is a 2-person shared apartment, we can use the third room as a living room. Lukas and I bought a beamer for this room, which thankfully stayed in the apartment. In the room there is a comfortable couch and two TV-chairs. I also have my rowing machine there, which you are welcome to use. (so that at least one person uses it :D )
Bathroom and toilet are separated. Unfortunately we don't have a bathtub in the bathroom, only a shower. In the bathroom you also find the washing machine.
There is unfortunately no basement compartment, also no bike room and no elevator.
You are welcome to stop by and visit the apartment in person, but I could also arrange online meetings. I am vaccinated and will also try to be tested at the time of the visit. Happy to wear a mask if that's what you want. Everyone should feel comfortable - just let me know!

Die Wohnung befindet sich in der Rauchgasse 22. Das liegt an der Ecke Rauchgasse / Rosaliagasse. Der Bahnhof Meidling ist zu Fuß erreichbar (ca. 7 mins). Die nächsten U-Bahn Stationen sind U6 Niederhofstraße (5 mins), U6 Bahnhof Meidling (7 mins), U4 Meidling Hauptstraße (ca. 10 mins) oder U6/U4 Längenfeldgasse. Mit dem Fahrrad ist man übrigens auch sehr schnell in der Innenstadt.
Die nächste größere Grünfläche ist eigentlich Schönbrunn. Wer weiter hinaus möchte, ist eigentlich super schnell im Lainzer Tiergarten oder durch den Bahnhof Meidling auch schnell außerhalb der Stadt. Z.B.: Gumpoldskirchen, Schneeberg und Co.
Bezüglich einkaufen befindet sich eigentlich alles in Gehnähe, da die Meidlinger Hauptstraße (Einkaufsstraße) gleich ums Eck ist.
Wirklich cool ist der Meidlinger Markt, welcher nur 3 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt ist. Dort gibt es immer Gemüßestandln und auch zahlreiche Restaurants und Spezialitätenläden! Wirklich gemütlich zum sitzen im Sommer! Außerdem hat in der Nähe eine authentische napolitanische Pizzeria aufgemacht, welche richtig lecker ist!!

The apartment is located at Rauchgasse 22, which is on the corner of Rauchgasse / Rosaliagasse. Meidling train station is within walking distance (about 7 mins). The nearest subway stations are U6 Niederhofstraße (5 mins), U6 Bahnhof Meidling (7 mins), U4 Meidling Hauptstraße (about 10 mins) or U6/U4 Längenfeldgasse. By the way, you can also reach the city center very quickly by bike.
The nearest larger green space is Schönbrunn. For the ones wanting to go further, Lainzer Tiergarten is also not too far away. Another option is to take the train from Meidling train station and go somewhere south of Vienna f.e.: Gumpoldskirchen, Schneeberg and Co.
Regarding shopping/groceries, a lot of it can be found within walking distance, f.e. the Meidlinger main street (shopping street) is just around the corner.
One of my recommendations is the Meidlinger open-air market, which is only a 3 minute walk away. There are always stands selling fresh vegetables and fruits and also numerous restaurants and specialty stores! Really cozy to sit in the summer! Also, an authentic neapolitan pizzeria has opened nearby, which is really delicious!!!
Das WG-Leben würde ich als gemütlich beschreiben. Mit meinem alten WG-Kollegen haben wir unter der Woche ab und zu gemeinsam Abend gegessen und auch den ein oder anderen Film geschaut. Untertags haben wir uns natürlich nicht so oft gesehen, da wir ja beide berufstätig waren. Im ersten Lockdown haben wir im Home Office auch oft gemeinsam gekocht, hat aber dann mit der Zeit auch abgenommen und dann haben wir auch öfter bestellt. Am Wochenende haben wir auch ab und zu etwas gemeinsam unternommen: am Balkon gegartelt, Wanderausflüge gemacht, gemeinsam am Balkon gefrühstückt, Freunde eingeladen, Film oder Serienabende gemacht usw. War jetzt aber nicht so, dass wir die ganze Zeit zusammen geklebt sind. Jeder hatte natürlich auch die Möglichkeit sich zurückzuziehen bzw. hatte halt sein eigenes Programm.
Vielleicht auch kurz zu mir was:
Ich, Alex, bin 30 Jahre alt, habe Erneuerbare Energie studiert und arbeite seit 2 Jahren Vollzeit. Ich fahre sehr gern mit dem Fahrrad (fahre eigentlich kaum mit den Öffis mehr und auch Fahrradtouren habe ich seit Corona für mich entdeckt). Außerdem gehe ich auch gerne wandern, spiele im Sommer immer gerne Volleyball. Habe aber auch gerne einen gemütlichen Abend zu Hause. Wenn ich nicht gerade hungrig bin, kann es mit mir richtig lustig sein :D. Aja und ein nachhaltiger Lebensstil ist mir auch sehr wichtig, bin aber kein Moralapostel.
Den Rest kann ich dir ja bei der Besichtigung erzählen.

I would describe life in the shared flat as cozy. With my old flatmate we sometimes had dinner together during the week and also watched movies or tv-shows together. During the day, of course, we didn't see each other that often, since we both have full-time jobs. In the first lockdown, we often cooked together in the home office, this decreased over time, switching to ordering in more often. On weekends, we spent time together from time to time: doing some gardening on the balcony, going on hiking trips, having breakfast together on the balcony, invited friends over, watching movies or tv-shows, and so on. But it wasn't like we were glued together all the time. Everyone had the possibility to do their own stuff.
Some facts about me:
My name is Alex and I am 30 years old. I studied renewable energy and two years ago I started working in a full-time job. I like to ride my bike (I barely use public transport anymore and I also discovered bike touring since Corona). I also like to go hiking, play volleyball in the summer. But I also like to have a cozy evening at home. If I'm not hungry, I can be really funny :). Also having a sustainable lifestyle is important to me, but I'm not a moralizer.
I can tell you the rest at the tour/visit.
