Leuteee, ein Zimmer in der Ketten-WG wird frei!!
*** Und nein wir sind keine Burschenschaft, Verbindung oder ähnlicher Blödsinn ***
Das Zimmer ist klein, kann mit der richtigen Einrichtung aber super schön sein! Es hat hohe Decken und ein relativ großes Fenster durch das vormittags viel Sonne reinkommt und zu einem Kaffee auf der Fensterbank einlädt. Dadurch, dass die Kette ein schöner Altbau ist, ist es im Sommer relativ kühl in der Bude, also perfekt um im August/September nicht zu sterben. Im Winter heizt es sich aber auch wohlich auf in der kleinen Kammer :)
Wie man auf den Bildern sieht, hab ich nur eine Kommode und ein riesen Bett im Zimmer stehen, was mir aber völlig ausreichte, da sich das WG-Leben eh in den Gemeinschaftsräumen Küche und Wohnzimmer abspielt! Man merkt die großer Anzahl an Mitbewohnis auch nicht immer, da wir auf zwei Stockwerke à 6 Personen aufgeteilt sind.
Apropos Küche, dein zukünftiges Zimmer liegt direkt hier, was mir aber nie negativ aufgefallen ist. Auch wenn mal längere bzw. nächtliche Küchensitzungen stattfanden.
Zu den 325€ Miete kommen noch Strom und Internet dazu, da kann es sein, dass man nach der Jahresabrechnung gut was zurück bekommt!
The room is small, but can be super nice with the right furnishings! It has high ceilings and a relatively large window through which a lot of sun comes in in the morning and invites to a coffee on the windowsill. Due to the fact that the chain is a beautiful old building, it is relatively cool in the gaff in the summer, so perfect to not die in August / September. In winter it heats up but also wohlich in the small chamber :)
As you can see in the pictures, I have only a chest of drawers and a giant bed in the room, which was quite enough for me, because the WG life takes place anyway in the common areas kitchen and living room! You don't always notice the large number of flatmates, as we are divided into two floors of 6 people each.
Speaking of the kitchen, your future room is right here, but I never noticed that in a negative way. Even if one longer or nightly kitchen meetings took place.
To the 325€ rent, electricity and internet are added, there it can be that you get back after the annual statement well what!
Die WG ist echt gut gelegen, direkt neben der Residenz und circa 3 min Fußweg zum Dom und zu der Strabahaltestelle. Auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind zu Fuß in 5-10 min zu erreichen.
Die THWS ist quasi um die Ecke und die Verbindungen zum Hubland auch. Genau so nahe sind Bibliotheken und schöne Cafés, wenn man dem Kettentrubel mal entfliehen will :)
The flat has a perfect location, directly next to the Residenz and you hast walk like 3 minutes to the Dom also public transport is within this reach. Super markets are reachable in a 5-10 min walking distance.
THWS is just around the corner and so are the connections to Hubland. Just as close are libraries and nice cafes, if you want to escape the chain hustle and bustle :)
Das ist denke ich das was die Kette am meisten ausmacht. Wir sind eine relativ große WG mit 12 Leuten. Trotz der größe sind wir allerdings zu null Prozent eine Zweck-WG eher wie eine große Familie. Was man etwas im Kopf haben muss ist, dass nahezu jeden Abend zusammen vegetarisch/vegan gekocht wird, da sich schwer 12 Leute gleichzeitig ihr eigenes Essen machen können.
Es wird nahezu alles in der WG geteilt und zusammen eingekauft. Wir kettis sind alle zam ein sehr bunter und wilder Haufen, schauen gerne Filme auf dem Beamer im Innenhof, spielen spiele oder gehen zusammen dancen.

I think that's what makes the chain most special. We are a relatively large shared apartment with 12 people. Despite the size, however, we are zero percent a purpose shared apartment more like a large family. What you have to keep in mind is that almost every evening we cook vegetarian/vegan together, because it's hard for 12 people to make their own food at the same time. Unfortunately, common meals take place just less, because many are locked in work, training and internships.
Almost everything in the WG is shared and bought together. We kettis are all together a very colorful and wild bunch, like to watch movies on the projector in the courtyard, play games or go dancing together.
