I leave to San Francisco for 2 months and sublet my furnished room in a super nice shared flat. The bed has no bed frame, just a new mattress on a slatted frame, has a small balcony towards the street (our large balcony is towards the nice backyard), and is suited for all who do not care about the sound of the trams. Toilet (see picture) and bathroom are separate, giving the four of us more room, and we have a large kitchen with a balcony that gets the sun from midday-late evening.
Trams 11 and 14 to HB/Schaffhauserplatz/Bucheggplatz/Seebach stop right outside the house, and Tram 7, which goes to Irchel Campus, is only 2 min away. I ride the bike everyday and get everywhere in Zürich in under 30 min.
Limmat is 5 min on foot, where you can jump in and have a beer.
Langstrasse 10 min by bike.
Nice cafe with good food is right next door.
We are Fabienne, Tom, Aurelie, and me (Ulrike). We are all working, Fabienne and Tom are both jazz pianists and a pretty funny couple, Aurelie is an art historian and invites us for the occasional spontaneous prosecco, I am a marine biologist and we like sitting together for an Apero and laugh or discuss things. That said, this doesn't happen that often because we have quite different schedules. :D
We are looking for an uncomplicated, independent human being who cares about cleaning up after himself. Ideal would be someone who just needs a nice, ideally situated place to live during the week, but is away on weekends. But please do check in with us otherwise as well.
We are looking forward to meet you and share our splendid home with you for two months.
