The apartment itself is very spacious and bright with more than enough space for two people. The whole apartment has wooden floors, a balcony (directed to South), a storage cabinet and two bathrooms (one with sink & toilet, and one with sink, toilet and bathtub/shower). The apartment is furnished with everything you need and contains also electronic devices like dishwasher, vacuum cleaner, iron, mixer etc. In the cellar there's space for your bycicle and the shared washing machine.
The room has a window to the balcony and a view to the green. You have all the basics in the room to feel comfortable (closet, chair, desk, shelf, nightstand and a big bed), and there's space for decorating the room e.g. with a sofa. I'd be happy to sell the furniture in the room, we can discuss the price for everything.
The neighbors in the house are couples, single households and families. Overall it's relatively quiet and you don't need to worry about party noise ;)
The house consists of six apartments and is surrounded by green areas and 1 minute on foot from the stop Altried: with tram 9 you can reach Schwamendingerplatz in 5 minutes, Milchbuck in 10 minutes and the city center in 20 minutes, with buses 94 and 787 you reach Oerlikon in 10 minutes and with bus 759 the airport in 20 minutes. At 15 minutes walking there are also the train stations of Stettbach and Wallisellen. There is a variety of supermarkets within 10 minutes by foot (Aldi, Coop, Lidl) from the flat and the Glattzentrum, a big mall with a huge supermarket, is at just 5 minutes walking from the flat.
Your flatmate will be Vicente from Spain, he's 32 years old and works at ETH. He's quite new to Zurich and enjoys sharing beers and food together. He really likes to cook (and he knows what he's doing ;) ), do sports and play video games. It's nice to live with Vicente with a good mix of spending time together and private time for yourself.
I'm moving at the end of the year (actually in the week before Christmas) - we can arrange for you to move in before January if necessary. The furniture is owned by the flatmates and I would like to sell my part, price to be dealt.

Utilities include electricity (usually around 75 CHF every 3 months to divide) and internet (we have it at 40CHF/month until September).
The Swiss TV (Billag) is not included and is made with a one-time payment (overall 350 CHF a year to be shared in two).
