Hey you! We (Mona, Laura, Chiara and Lukas) are looking for the newest addition to our shared flat.
Some hard facts:
+ Close to public transport (Bus 33 and Tram 2/4 3 minutes, Bhf Tiefenbrunnen 7 Minutes when walking sowly 😉)
+ Coop also 3 minutes
+ Lake in shouting distance
+ 2 Roof-top terraces
+ Lots of space for all of us and to-be guests.
+ Desk, office chair, and bed are available for purchase, if you like (but not a must).
This working-people shared flat is actually a lot more: we are each other's zurich family. It's a running joke and true story that people move out of here only when moving in with their partners -- and if you are up for a social wg-life, you will soon understand why.
Apart from the obvious cooking and eating together when there is time (but no pressure;)), binging the next season of the walking dead on a foggy winter weekend, repainting and refurnishing parts of the flat and organizing occasional flat parties together, we like to just support one another in personal life and design the way we live together as well as the flat.
Your future favorite flatmates:
Laura is our WG-Mom/jet-setter/Party-Girl wonder woman.
She is not around a lot in winter because of her job as a physio for the swiss national skiing team -- but if she is home, you won't miss it:
Whether for a casual or deep chat in the kitchen, having breakfast together or organizing the flats next clean-up, Laura will be there and make everything double fun with her lively manners and great entertainment skills. And the best thing: it's all combined with a lot of care for the ones she has close to her heart.
Mona: our aspiring PhD (ETH) in the small wg family. When she is not acting as a vegan master cook, she likes to hike through the mountains, jog through the city or read a good book. She is available for a quick chat in the kitchen but always has an open ear for deep conversations or discussions. The good fairy in the shared flat is initially a little quiet but can also take you into her heart just as quickly.
Lukas: our travel agent/interior design expert is a little Italian at heart. He feels most comfortable with good music and a glass of wine or a crazy good espresso. He likes to conjure up the best carbonara in the world or go to bouldering. When he is not in Italy, Freiburg or Prague for work, he also likes to game online with his buddies or plans his holiday in the far north to fish and relax. A short chat can quickly end in a funny and intense conversation.
Maria Chiara is a real whirlwind, temperamental and very lovely. As soon as she appears in the apartment, she is gone again, and if she is home she will always entertain you with the next fun story from her life. She likes to spend time at home or with friends -- and if you are new to Zurich, Chiara is the person to show you around in the city's nightlife. You often meet her in the home office, at the classic Italian biscuit espresso breakfast or at the classic late dinner.
If you are up for a bit of family spirit with a lot of care but also freedom to take time for yourself in this beautiful flat, we might be just the space for you and are looking forward to your message and description of yourself and wishes for living together.🌻
