2o yr old American Student Working in Au Haidhausen District

Hi!

My name is Sandra Nygren, I'm a 20yr old student from Boston, Massachusetts who will be working in Munich starting this January as part of my studies. I'll be working as an engineering intern in the Au Haidhausen district. Here in the US I'm a 3rd year student at Northeastern University and am studying Engineering in Boston, MA. I'm super excited to be living in and getting to explore Munich. I'm an avid outdoor person and plan on skiing and hiking Bavaria as much as I can. Being from Boston I also am a fan of having a good time out in the city with friends and drinks! After having traveled many times to a small town outside of Passau, Germany to visit my exchange partner as well as my boyfriend, I have loved exploring Bavaria and cannot wait to finally live in this beautiful region. I hope to find a place with people of the same age range who can help point me to the best places to go for a fun time in Munich and who can help me try to become more fluent in German. I took German for four years in school and am hopeful that being surrounded by Hoch-Deutsch rather than Bavarian will make it a little easier to understand! In return I can of course help with English:)

I need a place to stay starting around the second week of January and hope to not have to move during my time in Munich so would like a room till end of June (6 months) but if you have a room opening around that timeframe I am flexible. I'd prefer my own bedroom and need it to be furnished, as I will only be bringing what I can fit in my suitcase (and my skis of course)

If your flat has multiple rooms open as well I have a friend who will also be in the same boat (working for the same company for same duration) who could also use a place!
