English below!

As I am going abroad from the end of September to the end of March, I am renting out the apartment where I currently live. First of all: unfortunately I cannot take my cat with me abroad, so I am also looking for a person who will give my cat Lilly love and attention during this time. If you can imagine becoming a cat parent for half a year, please read on :)) More about my cat under “Other”.
The move-in date for you is flexible, as you can either move in from the beginning of September until the end of September at the latest. I would still be in Vienna in September, so we could possibly live together for a short time. The rent for September would of course be a little less.
The apartment will either be rented until the end of February, as renovation work will be carried out in the apartment in March while I am still abroad, or until the end of March if no renovation work is carried out in March. Maybe we can find a good compromise here, depending on what you/they suggest :)
It is an old apartment with approx. 90 square meters, two large rooms (approx. 20sqm), a medium-sized room (approx. 12sqm) and a small room (approx. 7sqm). Unfortunately, the small room is not available to you, as I would leave my bed here and store my things. However, it can be used as a connecting room to the bathroom and as a guest room if required. I might come to Vienna for Christmas, where I would also use this small room, as long as it is okay for you. Otherwise I can find other accommodation so that you can have the apartment to yourselves, but I would of course be happy to look in on Lilly when I am visiting Vienna.
The first large room is suitable as a living/dining room. It can be reached from the anteroom and from there the two bedrooms can be accessed separately. The second large room would be suitable as a bedroom and has access to the bathroom. There is also a large built-in wardrobe in the room. It may not be the most modern, but it offers tons of storage space, which is super practical :)
The medium-sized room is also accessible from the living room, but does not have direct access to the bathroom. The bathroom can be accessed through the small room. This means you can also access it separately if the apartment is used as a shared flat.
There is also a small bathroom, a spacious, beautiful kitchen and an entrance area with a large built-in cupboard with even more storage space.
I am fine with the whole apartment being rented out to one person, a couple or if a flat share is found for the semester!
The apartment is rented partially furnished. Exactly which furniture will remain in the apartment will be clarified in person. A bed and a chest of drawers in my small room, another bed that can be used (1.40m), the feuteuil, a desk with armchair, a box and a chest of drawers will certainly remain in the apartment. Furthermore, two more desks, the couch, another bed (1.40m) and a small shelf can be taken over at will, if these are not desired, this furniture can also be removed. Unfortunately, the dining table and armchair will not remain in the apartment. However, the large desk can be used as a dining table.
Since the apartment is mostly south-facing (living room and both bedrooms), it is super bright and even in winter the sun shines through the windows :) but a small disadvantage: the windows face Währingerstraße (street with streetcars, some traffic, ...), which makes the apartment not the quietest. But I definitely got used to it after a while.
There is an old, beautiful parquet floor in almost the entire apartment, which creaks a little in places.
The kitchen is large, relatively new and has everything you need. The bathroom is rather simple and smaller (bathtub, washbasin and storage facilities). The toilet is separate from the bathroom, which is quite practical :)

The flat is located in Vienna's 18th district, almost directly on Aumannplatz.
The 18th district is a family-friendly, quiet neighbourhood that impresses with its pretty charm and many green spaces.
Tram lines 40 and 41 are right on the doorstep and, depending on the direction, will either take you directly to Schottentor or to the outskirts of the city in 15 minutes. The U6 underground station Volksoper is only three tram stops away. The S45 S-Bahn line is two tram stops away. There is also a night bus from Schottentor to Aumannplatz if you need to stay longer.
A few minutes' walk away is the pretty Cottageviertel neighbourhood, which is great for a stroll. The Türkenschanzpark is also not far away, where you can go jogging and for a walk.
Also worth mentioning is the Kutschkermarkt, which also has a farmers' market every Saturday.

There are also a few nice pubs and cafés in the neighbourhood, such as Café Stadtbahn, Mocca, Trabant, Café Schopenhauer and Café Himmelblau.

Here is some more information about my cat Lilly:
Lilly is a bit older (15 years). She grew up indoors and is an indoor cat, but originally comes from the countryside. This is also somewhat recognizable by her sly and sometimes active nature. Lilly is not a typical cuddly cat. If contact is made with the cat, it should be from her side. For example, she sometimes lies down on your thighs when you are lying on the couch. Nevertheless, most of my family members have tended to keep their distance from her, as she is sometimes unpredictable and may scratch or snap. In general, it can be said that she is a very sensitive cat and should be handled with care. Despite her peculiarities, I love her very much and would like her to be in good hands for the next six months.
We can discuss further details individually! If I am absent for several days, there are people in my environment who can take over the care of the cat for a short time.
The care costs of the cat will of course be covered, in addition a small rent reduction can be discussed for the care costs.
If you are interested in the description and you feel addressed, please write me a message via WG-Gesucht :) Please only write if you could imagine taking care of my cat Lilly during this time and if the period (September/October to February/March) is suitable for you!
