Young Market Research Professional looking for long-term accommodation - from the USA

To give you some brief details about me, I am about to be 26 years old (this month. !!), working for a Market Research firm while preparing to take on my Master's Thesis in Environmental Resource Management.

I'm here from the US with a visa for the next 2 full years, and would like to find a place I can live in permanently until then (and longer). I am quiet, clean, and well-organized and relatively easy-going. I'll never leave a dish out of place.

Currently, I live in Kreuzberg, but my flatmate is leaving and as a result, I need to look for a new place to live. Mostly looking for one room flats, and small WGs. Also, I have lived with men, women, and gender non-conforming people in the past and would be happy to do so again in the future.

Some more about me:

I've lived in NY, Chicago, and a brief but unfortunate stint in Florida. I have also lived in Rome 6 years ago for some time. I'm a fairly outdoorsy guy, who'd prefer a relaxing evening with a few friends in the kitchen, or sitting by the canal. But I do like to go out on occasion when my need for dance outweighs my shyness. I love animals, dogs being my favorite house pet. I don't have one, but if you do - we're best friends!

Mein Deustch ist nicht gut, aber ich bin lernen - very slowly, but I'm trying! But this didn't stop me from recently joining the gym. I travel fairly often, almost always to a new place, and I'm currently planning a trip to India next spring.
