A Graduate Student at Herie School of Governance is currently looking for a studio/one bedroom appartment in Berlin, not far from the school

My name is Ilya Karnaukhov and on August 21, 2017 I am beginning my one year Graduate Program at Hertie School of Governance in Berlin. I am looking for a studio/one bedroom apartment that is no more than 30 minutes away from the University either by walking or metro. A furnished apartment would be my top choice but I am open to consider a pace with just basics such as a bed, a refrigerator, an oven and possible a washing machine. The ideal lease would be August 15, 2017 - June 15, 2018 with the possibility to prolong it since I might end up staying longer in Germany.
I am a Russian American and most of my life I have been living in New York. I just finished two years at Columbia University, New York, and I study Global Renewable Energy including solar batteries. I am a friendly and intelligent person who likes studying and traveling around the world. By this point of my life I have visited 48 countries. I speak Russian and English fluently. I am not speaking German but can use google translate. I do not like inviting people over to my place or hold parties. I am neat and super organized person.
