Plant-Lover Looking for apartment!

After finding a job in the Max Planck Institute, I'm looking to settle down long-term in a 1 bedroom apartment for just me and my plants. I would prefer to be close to the Regional train line 1, 21 or 22 (or at least have a good connection to it), as I work in Potsdam. Ideally, I would love a spacious apartment, but am perfectly content with a cozy place as long as it gets good light (for my plants). My main hobbies are cooking, reading, and hiking.

I already have a lot of bedroom furniture, so being furnished is not important. I plan on staying in Berlin for a long time, most likely to start a PhD in the not too near future. This is why I would like a long term rental from January onwards, it doesn't need to be immediately.
