Hi!
I am leaving my room, it is around 15mq, well-lit with two nice windows. It is at the first floor, it's more warm than winter of course but I didn't suffer for the temperature yet. I will leave the room unfurnished (possibly I will leave here the closet but if you don't need it can be stored in the gardenhouse). The rent is 450€ warm, unfortunatly it is available only until the end of August because then the landlord want everyone out to do some major renovations. Indeed the house is a little bit old and you can see it (i.e. some doors don't close properly, but don't worry, not the one of this room), but is lovely and spacious.
It is located in Lehen, 10min on foot and 3 by bike from the tram line 1, however is very duable to reach the city center by bike only (for me it takes from 15 to 20min). The neighboorhood is very pretty and it's a joy to walk around, you can easily reach the Dreisam, the Lehenberg and also all lakes here around (included Seepark). There is a Rewe at 5minutes by bike and a couple of other small supermarkets more or less at the same distance. It is also a very quiet neighboorhood.
3 more people live in the house, and a small cute dog too. My housemate takes complete care of it and you don't have to worry but to cuddle him if you like. It is a clean and quite dog anyway. Everybody in the house is very indipendent and it happens sometimes that you will not see people for the all day, at the same time there are moment where we share food, share stories and play board games. This is very spontaneous though, and everybody is free to mind is own business. Also the chores are spontaneous and there are not precise shifts, but that can of course being discussed. Oh, they Germans but all of them speaks English as well, and they always do when I am around :D
Finally, things could change quite fast, because we all know we have to leave the house by the end of August: I am moving for this reason, other people are looking around at a lower pace. But don't worry, there still are 2 good months and a half, and one person just arrived a couple of weeks ago. If the timeframe suits you and you are ok with the house being a bit "old", then feel free to write me back if interested.
