FLEXIBLE MOVE IN DATE: 20.7.-1.8.2023
Hi y'all room hunters, I'd like to sublet my wonderful room in Hamburg. I'm Anna, 30, artist, currently living in LA. My room is free until the first or second week of February and I would be happy to find someone who can stay the whole time and loves it just as much as I did ;)
The building is a renovated 'Altbau', the room is furnished (according to the photo) with a brand new mattress on slatted frame, an Eiermann table and a large closet. It has two large windows, so it is always nice and bright. The curtains darken completely!
The kitchen is new and has a dishwasher <3 the bathroom is also newly renovated and has both shower and bathtub. The toilet is in an extra little bathroom. We have a washing machine and dryer in the basement to save space and be sustainable :)
Eilbek is a beautiful part of Hamburg, it has a calm vibe - if you're going to the left from our apartment there is a park and a little river close by, great for talking a walk or hanging out in the summer. If you go to Wandsbeker Chaussee you have a lot of Kiosk, places to get food and other fun shops. It might not be St Pauli but that's also what I love about it ;)
The U1 is 1min away, the S1 is 5mins away. You're at the airport in 20min - 10min to HBF - 15min to St Pauli and 20min to Altona. I studied at HFBK so it was perfect since it only took me 5mins to get there. If you're studying at HAW or HFBK this would be perfect for you. Its also a very 'bike-able' place. Stadtrad station is 3mins away.
Alnatura, Edeka, Rewe, Netto, DM and Decathlon all 1-5mins walk away.
You'll live in a two bedroom WG with Felix, 35 who is an artist as well, he's currently in Zürich for a film production so I'll try to take care of the process until he's back and has time to get to know you. He's funny and a wonderful human, talkative, tidy and nice. He speaks German, English and French fluently. I think he'd like someone around who is communicative when issues arise and to be open about living together (sharing dinner, drinks etc.). The labels on this site don't really resonate with me - just a chill way of living together would be great :)
If you have any questions please let me know. My number is US so I hope you're ok with mailing me first :) and we can arrange a zoom.
We have a basement for bikes but I don't think there is much space for personal belongings because I put all of my stuff in there ;)
As a deposit we only need one month rent just to be sure we're save if something happens.
Hope to hear from you soon, please write a bit about you when reaching out, thank you <3 Ihr könnt mir natürlich auch gerne auf deutsch schreiben!
