In unserer Wohnung wird ab 1. April 2015 ein Zimmer in unserer schönen Altbau-Wohnung frei. Ich selbst bin ein 41-jähriger Musikwissenschaftler aus Australien und Vater von zwei kleinen Kindern, die einige Tage pro Woche mit in der Wohnung sind. Deshalb suche ich eine/n Mitbewohner/-in, für die/den es kein Problem ist, wenn es mal etwas lebhafter zugeht.

Das Zimmer ist ca. 20 qm groß und liegt an der Hofseite. In dem Zimmer befinden sich ein großer Kleiderschrank, ein Regal und eine Kommode. Das Bad hat eine Badewanne und die Küche eine tolle Einbauküche mit Vollholzplatte, Geschirrspüler, Waschmaschine, Kühlschrank und Mikrowelle. Außerdem hat die Wohnung einen WLAN-Anschluss.

I'm a 41 year old academic originally from Australia and a father of two small children. I'm renting out a room in my Apartment. The children are with me a few days a week, so I'm looking for somebody who would feel comfortable in such a situation of communal living. The room on offer is 20 square metres, has a large wardrobe and bookshelf. The apartment is spacious and we have a bathroom with shower and bathtub as well as a modern kitchen. Internet is also available. We are in the heart of Prenzlauer Berg, close to everything and anything cool.

Die Wohnung ist in superzentraler Lage in Prenzlauer Berg, zwischen Kollwitzplatz und
Helmholtzplatz, und ist zu Fuß ca. 10 Minuten vom Mauerpark entfernt. U-Bahn (U2 Eberswalder Straße) und Straßenbahn (M12, M1, M6) sind gleich um die Ecke und viele Läden, Cafes/Restaurants und Parks in direkter Umgebung. Prenzlauer Berg ist ein trendiger Stadtteil, in dem viele junge Leute und Familien wohnen. Berlin Mitte und Sehenswürdigkeiten sind mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln schnell zu erreichen.

The apartment is situated in a very central part of Berlin in popular Prenzlauer Berg, between Kollwitzplatz und Helmholtzplatz and is only a ten minute walk away from Mauerpark. Subway (U2 Eberswalder Straße) and tram (M12, M1, M6) are just around the corner (1 min walk) and many shops, cafes/restaurants and parks are nearby.

Meine Kinder und ich teilen uns die zwei vorderen Zimmer, das Zimmer nach hinten raus steht zur Verfügung. Küche und Bad werden von allen geteilt.

I am renting the room that faces the courtyard as me and the children occupy the other two rooms of the apartment. Of course the bathroom and kitchen are to be shared spaces.
