Hi there, we are Lisa and Frauke and just moved together to take over this flat for three. Now we are looking for suitable flat mate to be complete. Whether you are working or studying – if you are interested in living together and not just parallel then this is for you. (please read all)
The room is about 3x5m² and has a big window letting in the morning sun. If you don‘t like that, a curtain rod and some blings are already there. The floor is made of laminate.
In case you move in without any furniture we could arrange a basic interior: mattress, closet, table.
The flat has a bathroom with a shower and a cosy kitchen with herbs on the window sill in summer. Everything necessary (e.g. kitchen equipment) is already there. We took over a lot from the former owners but would like to rearrange some things as well. Your ideas are welcome here. The house has a little green meadow behind it where it is possible to have barbecue in summer and where a raised bed belonging to the flat is located.
The location is ideal. You can get everywhere by foot or bike in some minutes, e.g. city, supermarket, cinema, ...The central bus station is just a few minutes away and the transitin house, a social-ecological community centre, is just around the corner. The main train station is close es well. You‘ll need about 15min to university by bike. On top you can get into nature real fast: only one kilometer away start the river meadows and the way going all along the river.
Even though the flat is located in such a central position, the street is actually quite calm and you‘ll probably not notice anything. If needed, you have got good chances finding a near free parking lot.
Join in the shared flat life! There are no long-established rules and we can organise our life as we like and your ideas are very welcome. We both have a lot of experience in living in shared flats and would prefer if you did, too. Also we would appreciate a tidy person (without an obsession for cleaning, though). A basic tidiness in all common rooms is important to us.
We like short and long kitchen talks with a cup of a hot beverage and are open to joint trips and going out now and then, either to cultural events or into nature. Of course there can be days of withdrawal as well. Everyone should feel at home. Also we‘d like to share some common things like food, that everybody eats a lot. Just if you like to party all night, this flat is not the place for that activity.
Some words to each of us:
Frauke (27) will study a master course at the faculty for engineering starting at summer semmester. She is environmentally conscious, cooks a lot and likes to be outside in nature. She would like to make something out of the raised bed behind the house. On top she volunteers at RadBox, a self-help-workshop for bikes at university. For her, good days start with a cup of tea and some morning sports.
Lisa (30) is working. She also likes to be in nature for a hike or travels Germany by train. Cooking is one of her creative passions and she does it almost everyday, fresh and mostly vegetarian. She prefers new Asian dishes and likes cooking with or for others. Apart from that she finds counterbalances from work in making music, taking photographs or going to sauna or (most recently) going to the fitness studio.
However, we do not expect you to have the same hobbies and interests as we do. Getting along well with each other is the most important thing for us.
The flat also has a room in the cellar, where you can park your bike and store some more things. Also, we can hang our laundry to dry into a room just below the roof.
The rent is 316€. This includes all costs (also „GEZ“ (broadcasting fees) and Internet). However, since we need to make new contracts for gas, electricity and Internet, we cannot guarantee that price.
Furthermore it is common practise in this flat that the person moving in is renovating the room. But since the walls of the room where painted only a year ago, its best you see yourself if you find it necassary.
If you read till hear and still like to move in, we will look forward to reading a message from you. Please introduce yourself and tell us why you would like to move in with us. Please mention the codeword „greetings“ in your text. This way we know you really read this ad. We‘ll plan visits beginning at the end of February.
Looking forward to meeting you :)
Lisa & Frauke
