With its 14 m², the room is not the biggest but with its big window to Jean Paul Str it is quite bright. Through the long, rectangular shape and the high ceiling it is easy to furnish especially if you have the chance to go high instead of go wide. It has wooden laminate floor like in the living room and the other bedrooms. You are happily invited to take over the existing furniture (bed, desk, chair, closet, cupboard, shelves, curtains) for 60€.
It is adjacent to the kitchen so if you are a snacky person, your way to the fridge is the shortest ;)
In the living room we also have an eating corner and the door to our small terrace where we are looking forward to eat together in the summer.
The apartment is located next to the Hofgarten, the busstop is just 1 minute away and the university is 10-15 minutes walking distance, 5 minutes if you have a bicycle. You can reach the city center in 10-15 minutes on foot. There is a REWE and a Pharmacy just 400 m away and a Lidl 700 m away, so everything you might need is in walkingdistance and everything else is just a bike ride away. In summer we enjoy going to the Kreuzsteinbad (public pool) which is also just 7 minutes away.
We, Simona and Jannick are outgoing friendly people. Simona is from Italy and doing her PhD in Biology at the University. She loves reading and travelling, she also travels a lot for work, in fact now she will spend some time in Norway because of it. She loves the ocean and diving and enjoys cooking.
After his master programme Jannick stayed here in Bayreuth for work. In his free time he enjoys practicing sports like badminton, volleyball and hiking. Besides he likes game nights he is interested in astronomy and photography.
Jannick just recently moved in, but we are looking forward to relaxing movie nights and summer days at the Kreuzsteinbad which is only 5 minutes walk.
