after a year of living alone in my 3 room flat I would like to live in a flat share again and would like to sublet a 20m2 room for 2-6 months. We can share the third room which has about the same size. I would have my desk, a guitar amp and some sports gear standing there, which I'm happy to share though. Hope that's OK. The room has a wooden floor, two windows out to the streets. Although theres hardly any traffic(dead end), if you know the area close to Görlitzer Park you will now that just sometimes there will be someone screaming something out on the street or so...But the windows keep it out. The room is in the second floor and out to the north so it's not the sunniest of all but it's certainly not a basement dungeon either. Like many of us I'm keeping the room temperatures a bit cooler this winter because of what fucking Putin is doing to the Ukrainians, but I can also adjust.
I've been living in this flat for some years now and I enjoyed living together with various people many of which are close friends still. Once or twice a month or so I smoke a cigarette at the kitchen window.
Just a few words about myself. I am a medical doctor but in the summer I decided I would like to be a full-time researcher. So at the moment I'm looking for postdoc postitions. It's a quite cool phase for me because I'm reaching out to some scientists I admire, have interesting converstations with them and it seems like there are some good oppertunities for me to do the science I would like to. The last months I took some time off to do the things I felt like doing. I enjoyed concerts and a few days of clubbing and festivals in the summer after the (hopefully) worst phase of this damn pandemic. I just came back from a trip with the van in Italy and France chasing the last warm weather of the year to go climbing and drink coffee in the sun.
I grew up in Berlin, sometimes I love the place, sometimes I don't.
When living together I would like to enjoy having a chat together, ocasionally inviting friends, being able to share things while being considerate of the needs and wishes of the other. While I enjoy company I enjoy time by myself too. Probablly somehow sharing a similar lifestyle would make living together easier.
