As I am moving out I am lookinf for a successor to join as one of three (including me) Hauptmieter of a room in a beautiful shared flat located in Charlottenburg, right next to the famous Kurfurstendamm and 2-min walk from the Circle line/ Ringbahn (S Halensee). The 24sqm room has wood paneled flooring, large windows and your own private balcony. The apartment is a 3 person WG on the 5th floor of the building, with a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom as well as our own private cellar and a backyard with a barbeque area and bike parking. Car parking options are also available nearby.
The room is furnished and available from the 2nd of Marcg for rental. The total rent is 537,22€ warm per month, including Nebenkosten (excluding one off costs like ARD/ Rundfunk, which can be divided evenly among flatmates). As i recently bought a washer and intend to leave my entire furniture i am only considering applicants willing to take over the furniture at a lump sum of 750€.
The apartment is located in Charlottenburg, right next to the famous Kurfürstendamm, with plenty of shopping, dining and entertainment options right at your doorstep. You'll find 2 supermarkets, 4 banks and 2 laundromats within a 5 minute walking distance. The apartment is a 5 minute walk to S-Halensee on the Ringbahn, which makes the whole of Berlin accessible within 30 mins, and a 3 minute walk to the bus stop with direct connections to Zoologischer Garten, Kreuzberg and Neukölln. The neighborhood is quite beautiful in summer, and you'll find several parks, gardens and lakes in the vicinity.
You'll be sharing the apartment with Tush, and my flatmate Andrea, who’s mostly abroad in Italy as she can work remotely . We're looking for someone between 24-32, ideally a young working professional, who speaks English (German is a huge plus) and is sociable, fun and is clean but not too finicky (REALLY not looking for someone who'll freak out over a couple of dirty dishes). As a WG we tend to respect each others' privacy but we'd also like interesting, jovial people who wouldn’t mind sharing a beer or a whiskey on the balcony once a month. The most important thing is noise levels; our neighbors are pretty nice but are very sensitive to parties and noise after 10pm. Thus, the only catch is that if you're having a party or friends over you'll have to move to a bar or a club by 10pm, otherwise anything goes really.
