Hejhej,
here we go! It's a smal, but full furnished room in a historic building. The window fronts the yard, which is quite green (ok, in summer times) and super quite. It's furnished with a big and two smal cupboards and a smal desk and a mirror. There is a new (July 2018) ikea bed with matress, which my current flatmate wants to sell, but for me, there is no condition on this.
Next to the room is the kitchen (you hear some noise if somebody makes a morning coffee) and the bathroom (you barely hear anything) and has doors to both sides (which every flatmate loves bc of the easy access :).
The flat is centrally located between Hasenheide and Landwehrkanel, in terms of public transport you have the choice between Südstern (U7, nearest station like 7 min walk distance), Herrmannplatz (U7, U8, around 10 min walk), Schönleinstr (U8, 10 minutes), Kotti (U8, U1, 12 minutes) and the always-not-in-time-but-goes-to-mainstation M41 (1 min on the run, 3 minutes in not-in-a-hurry-mood).
So you choose between Kanal and parc in summer, thesetimes more between cafés, restaurants ans bars. Greafekiez is near & nice, Neukölln not far by bus or bike. For groceries you have an organic shop (Bio Company) and an Edeka, a Netto a bit more far away. Every Staurday until 4pm is a market at Südstern.
The street is super quite. The house has a department to lock bikes in the court, but in contrast it's difficult to find a car parking space in the evening.
I like the open-door-but-everybody-has-her/his-life-philosophy. I lived in severals flatshares and I'm openminded for discussing, cooking, a drink, activities and time to time partys. Beside that I also have my fully vivant live going on :) So, if you know, that you won't be at home at all or the opposite (like working all day from home) I think I won't be the best combination.
I know, that I'm over-average clean and tidy (especially in the kitchen), but I didn't have a Putzplan yet, because it always worked out with communication :D I really would love to keep that easy attitude, so if you know that you're super messy in common rooms, it wouldn't work (also on this point). So, you see, I'm honest. And organized. And caring. Quite german at some point, but still a person born and raised in the city who also lived abroad.
Coming home I liked to continue practicing foreign languages so my european languaged flatmates where a coincidence, but a great one, which I would love to keep. Speaking foreign languages opens the mind (to me - do you know the feeling of beeing an other kind of personality in a foreign language?), so Europeans and Internationals are warmly welcomed. Same for gays (I became a fan of Britney and bitching from time to time ;o).
Oh, what else? I'm veggie! It became so natural for me, that I nearly forget to mention it. I have no problems, if somebody eats meat from time to time and cleans everything very well up afterwords.
So, hej! You read already a lot! Some last ideas: I'm a mid of twenties girl working with my university-degree and studying a second time now. So I have kind of structured days, but I'm also at home during the week. I would be happy, if you're not new to berlin-business (like going crazy when discovering the party scene, I go clubbing from time to time) and have an idea for your life (work, masterdegree, watching clouds passing by).
The renting dates are flexibel. My flatmate sadly needs to move out as soon as possible, and the finishing time we can discuss personally.
My current flatmate also want to sell his bike (again no condition to me, but if you dont have any, it's a good offer).
Whats next? Write me please :)
As berlin flatmarket is as likeable as berlin winter I'm fine with a c&p-text. But please keep in mind, that it's not a reine Zweck-WG, so some personal words would be fantastic.
