The bright and quiet room is situated in a 2-room-appartment with a separate kitchen and bathroom in one of the post-war brick-buildings south of Frankfurter Allee.
After the former roommate left we would like to give the free room to a new roommate, preferable to someone from abroad (being from abroad is not a requirement).
The room is furnished, that means that there are, beside a bed, a desk with a chair, a closet, a couch, an armchair, TV + radio.
The room is available for a tidy, exceptional clean and responsible non-smoker with a long term interest (at least for 9 months).
5 minutes walk to U Weberwiese
10 minutes walk to Ostbahnhof
12 minutes walk to S/U Warschauer Strasse
supermarkets:
Edeka, 5 minutes walk
Aldi, 5 minutes walk
Netto, 8 minutes walk
Lidl, Rewe, 10 minutes walk
10 minutes walk to Simon-Dach-Strasse, for those who would like to go out a lot ;)
plenty of clubs within a 15-minutes-walking distance (Berghain, Postbahnhof, Suicide Circus, Cassiopeia, Badehaus Szimpla, Lovelite, and many many more)
We are a binational couple in our thirties, living in Berlin for some years now. Because of my work I am out of town for almost the entire year and will be in Berlin only for some few weekends. Since my wife is accompanying me on some of my longer trips around the world, we are looking for someone who would like to rent half of the appartment for a longer period of time so that the flat keeps inhabited while we are both out of town for weeks or months in a row. Usually we won't be in Berlin during the summer.
Because of my usual absence and our both frequent and long travels the apartment is a rather quiet place.
Regarding our age and the fact that both of us have spent some years living abroad, we prefer to share the flat with someone with similar experiences. That is why we are not looking for someone younger than 25. Since only my wife will be in Berlin for approximately 6-8 months a year (for the rest of the years she is travelling with me and will not be in Berlin), we are looking for a female tenant only.
After living for some years in shared apartments in different countries all over the world, cleanliness and tidiness are very essential for us. We expect that you don't have things lying around outside your room and you should clean after yourself when you have used the bathroom or kitchen. So this is an offer for a tidy and clean person! But since it is an old building and flat do not expect it to be pristine.

Hint:
When you are contacting us about the room, please feel free to share at least some basic information about
- who you are (age, sex, nationality),
- what you are doing for living,
- for how long you would like to rent the room.
"I love the room, please call me asap" does not work as a way to get an accommodation in Berlin. Seriously.
