THE FLAT:
Spacious Altbau Loft (105 sqm) – two private rooms and a generous 65 sqm of shared space, which includes living and dining areas, leaving free room for your home office if you wish. The whole flat is facing south, the rooms are filled with natural light all day long through the large windows. Recently renovated, the space combines found materials with new ones, contemporary decor with thrifted pieces and you're welcome to contribute your creative input. The elevator opens directly into the flat, offering a unique access. The kitchen is fully equipped (EBK) with new appliances, such as a fridge, dishwasher, and a built-in stove and oven and there is a washing machine with dryer function in the bathroom.

THE ROOM:
The 12 sqm room is part of a newly renovated space, so you'll be the first one to use it. It comes furnished with a bed from made.com, purchased just a year ago and almost like new, along with an open closet system, blackout curtains, a desk, and a brand-new mattress from Ikea. If you're interested, the mattress can be purchased for 290 euros; otherwise, all other furnishings are included in the rent.

This room is the quietest in the entire flat. Additionally, there is plenty of free space in the shared area, making it ideal if you work from home—you can easily set up your work space there.


LOCATION:
The apartment, located in Kreuzkölln, has an entrance on the busy Hasenheide street, yet it remains quiet due to its position within the large innenhof, a charming section of an old Gewerbe complex composed of brick buildings. The surrounding neighbours are art studios, theatres, wood workshops, martial arts and dance studios, alongside a lovely residential community of artists and designers.

WHAT’S NEARBY?
Just in front of Hasenheide Park, Hermannplatz is right around the corner, 2 minutes to the Ubahn station. Across the street, you'll find the Neu Welt, Edeka, Denn's Bio, DM, Bauhaus, and Holmes Place. There are also several Spätis in the area some are open on Sundays. Situated between Gräfekiez and Reuterkiez, the area offers a variety of restaurants, bars, galleries, stores, and the Landwehr canal is within walking distance. Plus, there are numerous of yoga studios and gyms within a 5-minute radius.

ABOUT ME:
I'm a 34-year-old woman originally from Turkey, and I've been living in Berlin for five years. My background spans art, design, architecture, music and I've been working as a freelance digital product designer for over a year, mostly from home. When I’m not working you'll often find me cooking in the kitchen, taking care of my plants (I plan to get more) and listening online radios during the day.

I'm a tidy and responsible flatmate, and I've lived in various WGs before. I like to keep our home clean and cute and often add new thrifted items or build things myself. I enjoy having a few friends over for a nice home cooked meal. Most of my time outside home I spend it with trying new restaurants, working out, strolling in the markets and going out to dance occasionally. It is important to me, that we have a mutual respect and get along even if we pursue different activities. Always happy to share a conversation, I can also speak German and Italian but not as strong as my English and Turkish.
