First off, this is a newly renovated apartment from a warehouse that I did my last summer. It is my pride and joy and still a work in progress and will progress towards something as sanctuary like as studio oliver gustav, I hope!!
The room is available for monthly 3 800 and after that there may be a possibility for long term.
Must be tidy and professional
This is not a party wg. The house is beautiful and really special, but also delicate: big trees, lots of books and random trinkets and 'art'. It's a good sanctuary for chilling, cooking, reading, hosting small things (dinner, book club, yoga classes (the dining room is easily totally cleared to provide a big studio space; seminars etc). Everyone in the house goes out a lot, but I really want to reiterate there's no tolerance for partying (excessive drinking, drugs, smoking, loud music, lots of people) whatsoever at the house. We have a whole city for that :) maybe you will go out with the other flatmates! They go out regularly a lot and one of us works at tresor and ohm and can give us guest list. Just don't bring the party back home! Come back when you've had enough and we will put the kettle on and you can tell us all about it over a cup of tea. Or, we also welcome people that don't go out. For months of the year that is my life, and its also the case for one other flatmate. The house is very peaceful, no compromises on that soz xx
So the no-fun part out of the way... The house is really special! We have a recently refurbished kitchen to a very high standard. The kitchen is huge and lots of space for multiple people cooking. We have a dining room and an office as well as a living room . I feel super lucky with this house.. but it ended up being quite expensive per room. The ceilings in a lot of the flat are 5 metres high because it used to be a factory. It's in a lovely private courtyard.
There are five bedrooms and also three bathrooms. Your room is either on its own side of the house and has two bathrooms nearby. You have a nice view into a private courtyard. The room is one of the only ones with nice old wooden floors and a cute original window from the warehouse. OR it is on the other side of the warehouse and even bigger, with 5 metre high ceilings and a nice original warehouse window but not as nice a view. So either really big room with high ceilings, or smaller but with nicer view and wooden flooring.
The room has hangers and clothes space in it. Also included a fancy Emma original mattress I bought for everyone.
The other roomies are lovely and chill. Bua is a jewellery designer who recently moved here from Australia and grew up in Thailand. Sebastian is a sound engineer and also works at tresor. Max is studying architecture and is a passionate woodworker. Julia just dropped out to pursue her photography and speaks about a million languages! She's from Argentina and Brazil but has lived all over. They're all amazing cooks, I am not. They all get on well and they are who you'll meet. I might ask them for brief intros in the morning for me to add.
