The flat is on the third floor and has 2.5 rooms. Next to our two bigger rooms (> 20m2 each), there is a third smaller room, which is currently mainly used as guest room. The whole flat has about 70m2 and is equipped with all you need (washing machine, dish washer, etc.), we also have a bathtub and there is a cellar where you could put your bike if you have one.
The free room is big and has two windows. It is furnished with a bed, shelves, commode and a piano which you can all use, but there is still plenty of room to spread you own things.
The flat is close to S-Bahn Nöldnerplatz and Lichtenberg (each about 8mins of walking), on the right side of the S-Bahn track in a quiet nice neighbourhood, with a supermarket closeby. Within a few minutes you will be at Ostkreuz or Boxhagener Platz in Friedrichshain, which are really popular spots for doing something active at day or night.
It is important for me that life in the WG is friendly, relaxing, with an open communication atmosphere, so that we both like it to be at home, can use it as a safe spot after work to calm down or have some good talk about life together with a glass of wine. We do not have a living room, thus at working days we meet friends mostly in our own rooms or outside of the flat.
About myself:
I finished my studies three years ago, I am 29 years old, and currently work fulltime as a Data Scientist, which means using algorithms to recognize patterns in data.
I try to do sports a couple of times a week, preferably swimming or other water sports like surfing in Portugal or SUP in Brandenburg in summer. My favourite music styles are rock music, indie, alternative, but also everything else danceable. The only thing I really can’t connect with is Techno, a hard fate for living in Berlin ;) I enjoy playing some boardgames now and then, doing something cultural in Berlin or going out to party, would be cool if we could do something together from time to time!
The monthly rent is 550€ + about 60€ additional costs (electricity, internet, etc.). You could move in from November on, it is also possible to start from middle of November, until beginning / end of January (both move in and out dates are flexible if wanted).
