It's a cozy, bright room with balcony. Fully furnished.
I lived in this 24 m² room myself for about 2 years and loved it! It's large, is brightly lit by indirect sunlight all day long through its large windows and has its own balcony where you have sun all afternoon until evening! ... I always thought it was unbeatable for a glass of wine with friends in the summer.
The furniture that's currently in the room is mine. If you don't like it or want to rearrange or change something, we can do that. I'm a handyman and can help.
The flat is located between two large and beautiful parks - the huge Volkspark Rehberge and the Schillerpark. The latter is only a 3-minute walk away. It's a 15-minute walk to Volkspark Rehberge, but it's also beautiful.
The area is relatively well connected by public transport. Bus 120 stops right outside the door and takes you to the main railway station in 20 minutes. The U6 underground line is a 5-minute walk from here and takes you to Berlin-Mitte in 7 minutes or further south. The Leopoldplatz transport hub is two stops away.
As you are close to Müllerstraße (a kind of shopping street in the neighbourhood), there are several shopping facilities within a 5-minute walk.
Apart from that, it's the district Berlin-Wedding here. You have to look a little closer to find the beautiful cultural, artistic and culinary places. But they do exist.
At the moment there are still two of us in the flat, a woman and a man, both 28 years old. Our names are Liz and Tillmann.
However, my flatmate Liz will be moving out this month, which means I'm looking for two new flatmates - you and one other person.
So far, our life together here in the flat share has been quiet, as clean and respectful as possible. We have never been a party flat share and have all pursued our activities in life. I would like it to stay that way. I imagine my home to be a quiet, beautiful place where all the flatmates can relax from their everyday lives. Of course, it's also very nice to have guests at home, who can of course stay here overnight and so on, to celebrate a party together as a flat share or generally sit together as a flat share in the evening. But always with respect for the other flatmates. I wouldn't want to live in a Berlin party flat share either. So if you want to live in Berlin to celebrate the great party scene, you won't fit into this flat share.
Briefly about me. I'm Tillmann, 28 years old and I'm studying for a Master's degree in architecture. My studies are relatively demanding, so during the week I spend most of my time at university or elsewhere in the city. I'm a skater and like to take advantage of Berlin's sunny months to do my sport outside in the city. Apart from that, I'm a big music lover and also play myself - actually drums, but at home I sometimes strum the guitar a bit too. I'm definitely a quiet, clean and friendly flatmate.
You'll only get to know Liz very briefly because she's moving out soon. That's why I'll only say a few words here. She's a tattoo artist and makes music. I'd say she's funny, clever and talented in many artistic fields. And she cooks very well!
Oh, we're also both vegan for the most part. But at least vegetarian. If you're travelling like that too, that's definitely a plus for you 😉
Let's just have a call first and if we both think it might fit let's just see if we can agree on meeting in person and maybe also visiting the flat if you want :)
