The room is located on the upper floor of the loft. It has a walk in closet annexed to it. The room has a bed and small table. On the mezzanine of the upper floor there is also a working desk available next to the little library. The flat has a lot of light and is newly renovated. Each room (one downstairs and one upstairs) has its own bathroom. The bed is super comfy and has lots of pillows ♥️. The kitchen is modern and has all the utensils you can wish for (dishwasher, juicer, blender, etc etc)
The flat is located right next to the u7 station, although it’s on the busy karlmarxstrasse it’s located in a quiet courtyard which also hosts several artist studios. It’s a green, light and creative environment.
The flat is right next to the u-bahn and s-bahn which makes it very well connected, its a 10 minute bike to maybachufer. There are several supermarkets right around the corner.
The flat is shared with the Brazilian music selector and videographer Anna who has been in Berlin since 11 years. She works full time and the flow of the house is pretty balanced in terms of people being home or not. It’s also a very big space, so plenty for each to retreat. There is a nice smart tv in the living room for movie nights.
Each floor/room has its own bathroom.
Im traveling to India for work and am subletting my comfortable princess peace nest :)
The courtyard of the house is very cute, its a creative environment and there is a real neighbourly vibe around. My downstairs neighbour just put out her ice cream machine on a very hot day for example and each Friday the artist studios gather in the courtyard to do a little bbq and drinks.
I like to be transparent and this amount is exactly what I pay for rent per month, the nebenkosten are the calculations I made based on the previsions of the rising gas prices for heat in this last winter, so Im not making any money on top of this.
Unfortunately Berlin got pricey, but in this case you really get the comfort for your money :).
