I am renting a large, very quiet room to a writer / Author / Designer / working professional - in our large apartment. This can also be rented as a workspace only - during daytimes!
We are looking for a person with regular working hours (!) outside the apartment, or someone perhaps commuting to Berlin on a regular basis.
Ideal für Pendler*innen!
The shared spaces in our apartment are the kitchen and the bathroom- the room has a guest toilet which offers some extra privacy.
Since we also work in the apartment, this is our preferred arrangement.
The apartment is in the middle of Prenzlauer Berg, close to countless restaurants and bars.
We have also got a new puppy here - australian shepherd.
we are looking for someone who is respectful of our live/work arrangement, and sociable, cosmopolitan and with empathy, and humor - and capable of getting along with kids (my son is 14) and likes dogs..
PLEASE NOTE !!! I will not be answering standardised emails, where this flat description has not been read...
Also - my son and I would like to avoid people coming from abroad and using the flat as a stepping stone for a couple of months..
we are careful with heating and energy use - so daily showers - even for us - are not sustainable.
the area is very well connected - to all cafes, ubahn, sbahn and tram. near schönhauser allee, the U2, and the s bahn ring. we are surrounded by restaurants and cafes, and the flat has a very good garden at the back.
we are in one of the most desirable streets in berlin, the Oderbergerstrasse, right by mauerpark.
I am a cultural manager, with my son, and we are sociable, lively, and live quite a regular life. We hope you are child-friendly, preferably a non-smoker, and relaxed, and like our style of living. we hope also you like to/can speak english. And appreciate someone who takes part a little in daily life here, but also understands the need for privacy.
