Hello dear Berliners, we have a bedroom available in ourbeautiful, furnished, altbau apartment. 24 sqm, (600 euro warm/month). We have a modern kitchen (steel surfaces, washing machine, dishwasher, induction stove etc.) and a lovely tiled bathroom. The apartment is centrally heated and all the windows are double-glazed so it's quite warm.
About the building: Most of the other tenants are families so this is not a WG for parties. Me and my housemates have people over for dinner or drinks but it is a casual atmosphere. There is a private courtyard with a small garden and bike racks for tenants.
Housemates: Emil and Olga, both split their time between homeoffice and office during the week. Both have been lovely housemates to live with. We have a bit of a balance of being social in the kitchen while also keeping to ourselves when we want space.
Who we are looking for: aged 26y/o or above. LGBTQ+ friendly. Respectful of flatmates spaces, so being mindful of noise and of keeping the co-living spaces relatively clean. Someone who enjoys chilling with a bier or glass of wine is of course welcome :)
The transport connections of this area are amazing, M10 tram is 2 mins walk, Eberwalderstrasse (U2) is 10 mins walk, and Prenzlauerallee is 10 mins walk (S41/42). Even without a bike, most of the city is maximum 30-40 mins away. Edeka and LiDL are less than 10 mins walk away, a REWE is 20 mins walk.
This Kiez is beautiful, very clean, lots of small cafes or restaurants. Kastanianallee is nearby if you want to want to go for drinks. Every Tuesday and Saturday there is a farmers market on the street. And during the summer there's a small wine bar nearby the flat that does live music.
