Hey there!
At the start of October I will be leaving my room in a WG in Schoneberg.
The room is a 22sqm rectangle, so it's very spacious and you can do with it what you want. It is on the top floor so you get a ton of sun during the day. It is furnished, and comes with a wardrobe , a queen sized bed, a desk, a chair, and the couch can be bought from me for a small price (see pictures). My guitar, monitors, and DJ equipment unfortunately must come with me ;)
The kitchen and bathroom are basic but have everything you need so it is ideal if you are relatively new to Berlin!
The room costs 539€ warm (all bills, internet, water, electricity, and heating included).
The deposit is 750€.
The transport connections are probably my favorite part of living here;
The Sbahn Schoneberg (with the Ringbahn and the S1) a 5 minute walk away.
The U7 stations Bayerisher Platz and Eisenacher Strasse are 10 minutes away.
And there are excellent bus connections to Bulowstrasse (to take the U2), to Zoo, to Sudkreuz, and more...
You can pretty much get anywhere in the city with ease.
There are a ton of restaurants all around the apartment and in Schoneberg in general, as well as a few cute bars. There are a couple parks nearby aswell, with the Rudolph Wilde Park a 2 minute walk away.
There is a Penny a 4 minute walk away, a Lidl a 5 minute walk away, a Biomarkt, Rewe, DM, Rossmann, and Aldi all within a 10 minute walk away... The possibilities for groceries are truly endless. Happy days.
The roomates are very chill;
Elisa is 22, is enrolled in a dance and musical theater program, and works part time in a school, and Jaime is 25, is a flimmaker and works part time as a bartender. We are easy going, clean, love sharing a good chat every once in a while in the kitchen, but admittedly we all have pretty busy schedules. The most important things are all common sense really, just being honest, open, good and polite to one another.
It would be a good fit if you spoke any of the languages specified, but English would be preferred (it is the language of the flat currently), and it would probably be best if you were in a similar age range and in the same occupation (working/studying).
The landlord is looking for someone to stay for a minimum of 6 months but you have the opportunity to stay indefinitely.
Anmeldung is of course possible!
If you are interested please reply to this ad on here with the usual, a text introducing yourself, and leave me your phone number for Whatsapp, and I'll get back to you if we think you'd be a good fit.
Visits will be happening in the next few days/week!
Cheers !
