The house is located in Lankwitz, that belongs to the district Steglitz-Zehlendorf in the south of Berlin. Please check the distance and duration to your work or university before you apply.

The bus station of the bus line M82 is just 100m away. This line is operating 24/7 and will bring you within 10 minutes to the S-Bahn station Lankwitz. From there you can easily reach every other district of the city especially the eastern part.
This bus line will also bring you to U-Bahn station Rathaus Steglitz within 20 minutes, from there you have fast connections to the Universities TU and FU plus western city center.

FU GeoCampus/Mensa (Malteser Str.) is in walking distance.

Foodstores like Edeka, Rewe and Lidl are in walking distance, an organic food store is near the S-Bahn station.

There are some small restaurants (Italian, Kroatian, Chinese, Greek) nearby.

You will find lots of parks in this green environment esp. amazing Lilienthal Memorial Park (see foto). Also an old vintage cinema (Thalia) and a superb public bath (Stadtbad Lankwitz with 28°C water temperature and sauna) is waiting for you. Every Saturday is a weekly street market for fresh fruits, vegetables, cheese, meat, fish etc in a distance of only 2 km from the house (Lichterfelde Kranoldmarkt).
It´s a very safe area at any day- or nighttime and completely different to the city center.

We are Rachel and Stefan, a middle aged couple, and we are living in our house on the ground floor. On the first floor we rent three furnished rooms. In the moment we have two tenants (both women). The third room is now available also for a woman.

You would share the place (big kitchen+bathroom) with Johana (29, Costa Rica) and Kaho (23, Japan). Johana is living with us already for more than three years. She finished her master in chemistry and is working now for a start-up. She is a really friendly person. Kaho is from Japan and studying at TU for two semesters. She will stay until next summer. She is also nice and making her experience in WG life but she´s often absent because of her travels.

Sometimes you will meet us too, Rachel is born on the Philippines, living here for more than 13 years and working, I am Stefan, German, and also working.

Everybody is having a 40 hours working schedule so we are looking for somebody with a similar lifestyle. The flat share is for calm people to rest & recover from work/study, we have a nighttime peace from 10 p.m., no parties or permanent visitors, non smoking/drugs/animals.

So everybody is quite busy but still enjoy some spare time together in the kitchen or garden. From time to time we like to cook or bbq together at the weekend after a long working week.

English is the WG language, other languages are most welcome, you can also talk to us fluently in: Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Tagalog (Filipino), German.

This location has a friendly and familiar atmosphere with two other female flatmates only and the owner couple at ground floor.

We prefer persons with standard working hours, no shift workers, no home-office, no JobCenter (social welfare). Any other detail that makes it easier for us to decide that you could be a good match for our flatshare (flatshare experience, hobby, habits, food, cooking, daily routine, etc.)

Unfortunately we don´t offer online viewings, a personal meeting with all of us is neccessary and gives you the good opportunity to see the place and neigbourhood with your own eyes, so please don´t apply from abroad, we need to meet you here in person.
