The Room is a cozy 18 qm Room located on the Border of Berlin Wedding in the North of Berlin, the closest Train Station is U Franz Neumann Platz. You can find supermarkets, Restaurants, Post Office, a Bank, a Turkish Fruit/Vegetable-store and lots of other different Shops within walking distance (closest supermarkets are Penny, Aldi, Netto and Edeka). The Apartment itself is located in a calm side street, but it's only a 10 minute walk to get to the shops. There is also a park with a little lake/pond only 15 Minutes distance from the apartment, where you can go for a run or find some quietness :-)
You will share the 2-room Apartment with my best friend. She is finishing her Bachelor Degree in Horticultural Sciences right now and will keep on studying Geoecology during this year. She also just started a new Job and does Environmental Voluntary Work, so she might be quite busy, but would be happy to drink a Coffee sometimes in the Morning. We usually like a healthy diet as well as wholesome meals, which is why we pick up a big Box of Vegetables every Tuesday. We pay 25 Euros Each per month and every Tuesday somebody else picks it up from S Bhf Wedding (10 min Bike Ride or 25-20 min Train Ride). If its possible, you would join this and pick up the Vegetables 2-3 times during your stay. They are all organic and super yummy, usually its not necessary to buy any other vegetables from the Shops, because this box always comes with a big variety. If you have any questions around this feel free to ask me :-)
My Room will be fully furnished with a bed, Desk, Shelves, Couch and a Clothing Rail. You will also find a big old industrial sewing machine, which is sadly not working right now. I have another normal one which you are very welcome to use. You will have double windows looking into the Garden. The Flat is on the Ground Floor but lays around 2,5 meters elevated above the ground.
