seeking long-term bright room in creative WG of 1-2 people

Hello !

I'm Cara, 46, queer woman, designer and dj, living 5 years in Berlin, last from Seattle. I'm currently looking for a long-term, unfurnished, large, bright room in a creative, friendly and structured flat shared with 1-2 other respectful, clean and open people. Ideally, I would move 1 July, but it is also possible in May or June. I love living in Neukölln / Xberg, but I'm also open to getting out of my kiez bubble, as long as it's still within the ring. My german is conversational and I enjoy speaking at home. Max miete is 500 €.

It's very important to me, especially during this time of the Covid-19 pandemic, to have open and respectful communication, find agreements on how we live together and each respect and follow it. In my current WG of 6 people we were not able to do this and now 3 flatmates are moving out. 

I'm typically easy-going, communicative, considerate, clean, live well with others, have a sense of humor and love to laugh. I'm part of many different communities in Berlin and enjoy a social life that includes music, dj'ing, art, food, biking around the city, traveling and enjoying life. I love going out to dance and dj (once we can again!), but my party days are behind me. I typically meet my friends outside of the WG (always right now;), but also occasionally like to have friends over for dinner (after quarantine) with flatmates always welcome to join. I like hanging out at home in shared spaces, having spontaneous conversations, laughing and enjoying learning more about you, cooking, sharing an occasional meal and direct communication about how we live. I also like my alone time and closing my door to relax and recharge with meditation, yoga, reiki, reading and music. currently, I have a home office during Covid-19. 

I work as a freelance graphic designer / artworker for both communities and agencies, have just become certified in OOUX and am training in Reiki. Before Covid-19, I dj'ed mostly for soli / community events every few months. I have a small home studio, but I practice out of the flat, am very respectful of my flatmates and have always found mutual times / levels to play.

What I bring to WG life is laughter, grounded energy, delicious cooking aromas, cleanliness, creativity, plants, coziness, openness and a desire to enjoy / build relationships and community. I like when we can again have shared events and invite people over for dinner, art, cinema and host out of town guests, but I also don't want to live in a constant party.
