Hallo Berlin!

My name is Constantino. I'm 35 years old, and I’ve been living in Berlin since 2018.

I have recently graduated from the Hertie School, in Mitte, where I studied a master in public policy.

I work at the MCC-Berlin, a research institute on climate change, in Schöneberg.

I've been living in shared houses for years and I know what it's like to live with other people. I appreciate clean and tidy common spaces, especially the kitchen and bathroom/toilet, and I always clean after myself. I like keeping my room organised and fresh. Every morning I do my bed and I open the windows for ventilation.

I'm pretty neat and responsible, but also relaxed and easy-going. I don't smoke, but I love a beer and a glass of wine. I ride my bicycle everywhere, and I like playing my acoustic guitar, but I am always respectful of other people's spaces, sleeping hours and privacy.

In the kitchen, I keep it pretty simple. Mostly salads, lentils and pasta. I’m not a vegetarian, but I’ll eat meat only when I'm out. Overall, I like living sustainably, with no tendency to excesses nor consumerism.

I enjoy watching stand-up comedy and having face-to-face conversations. I also prefer music that is played with instruments to EDM.

I'm independent, autonomous and I already have a life here in Berlin. I'm happy to have occasional dinner together and go out for a drink, but sometimes I just want to be in my room and watch Netflix or read.

I speak Spanish and English. I’m attending German lessons (B1).

Routine-wise, I have a rather busy schedule. I wake up around 8 am on weekdays, I head out and usually won't come back but in the evening. Sleeping hours are very important to me.

Corona-wise, I comply with Government regulations: I wear my mask and wash my hands regularly, but when I meet a friend I give them a hug, and I don't mind having dinner with 3 or 4 people.

I'm happy to provide full documentation including a copy of my passport, residence permit, work contract, bank statements, payslips and current anmeldung.
