PhD looking for a friendly flatshare in Berlin

Hello!

I'm Andrew from Manchester, and here in Berlin doing a PhD in electric fish behaviour and looking for a new friendly flat share. Since I've just finished the second year of my PhD I'll be here for another two years or so, so I'm looking for something long term, but open to something short term initially.

A bit about me - I like to be active, climbing, running, exploring trails on my bike, lake swimming in the summer. When I am home I'm usually reading, watching a movie, or practicing languages. I also like to cook (mostly but not exclusively vegetarian) and learn new dishes from around the world so I would love to live with people who want to educate me!

I think I'm a fairly easy person to live with and can make good connections with new people. At the moment I'm mostly in the office but some Fridays I work from home. I'm respectful of people's space and try to be considerate about noise and cleanliness etc.

I want to live in a place with a good friendly atmosphere, with easy communication, maybe eating dinner together or sharing a beer every now and then. I like a place to be clean and I think adults should be able to just clean when it needs to be done, but I also understand how useful schedules can be so sign me up if needed! In terms of location, it would be nice to have big green spaces nearby, but I'm not that picky as long as I can get to Potsdam Hbf in 45 minutes.
