Let’s be flatmates ! 🦖

Hello people! I’m Elisabetta (27 y/o, Italian) and series of fortunate events brought me here to Berlin to do a PhD in computational chemistry.

As a big fan of not being homeless, I find myself in need of a room, ideally for a long term but I could also do a short term to avoid couch hopping and have some time to find a stable place.

When I’m not doing science I like making some music with my violin (not at annoying hours, promised), playing DnD, reading fantasy books and going to the park to loose some ping pong matches.
Until now I lived in shared flats with 2-5 roommates, both party people and more quiet ones, and I’m fine with both as long as everyone is happy :) . What is important for me in a shared flat is keeping a friendly and relaxed environment where everyone feels at home, and having good communication. Doing something together as flatmates is also great (Cooking? Movie night? Glühwein night? Heated discussion about some very random subject?). At home I like keeping things clean maybe following a cleaning schedule or maybe just common sense, as long as the trash goes out before we get to witness the miracle of life.

Normally I’m at work during the day and come home in the evenings, but potentially I can have flexible working time so I can easily adapt to the routine of the household.

Regarding language, my German is still very primitive (A2 I think), but I hope I will improve.
