Looking for my new home 🌺 (flexible move in date until Feb.2023!)

My name is Mélisandre, I’m a 34yo scientist (PhD in biology), and originally from France (aus Elsass ☺️🥨). I moved back to Europe after 4 years of living and working in Hawai’i and decided to settle in Berlin for a while :)

I have been here since the spring, currently living in Wedding (Sprengelkiez) but looking for a new place!
In general I am pretty laidback, open-minded and friendly 😌 I’m independent and pretty quiet at home, I’m usually working on my laptop, reading, watching series/movies, doing yoga or playing ukulele. I like to have my privacy (and am very respectful of that of others) but I also enjoy spending time with people, over food/music/games or whatever in- or outdoors activities, I like a lot of different things 😊 I occasionally have friends visiting but in general I prefer to socialize outside and keep home as a place to rest and recharge away from the world! So looking for a friendly vibe but definitely not a party WG 😅
I speak English and French fluently, and a tiny bit of German - working on improving that last one tho, and currently following an intensive German course! Und hoffentlich würde ich bald mit sprechen bequemer sein ahah! I’m also pretty neat and clean, not a tidying freak (and my room will regularly be a complete mess lol) but I always do my best to leave things clear for other people in common area. Last but not least - I value open, direct and respectful communication, and it’s important to me that my future roomies do as well ☺️

I’m flexible with the starting date and open to both long-term or shorter term rentals (minimum 2-3 months). I’m also pretty flexible on the location, although I’d like to stay within or fairly close to the ring. And I’ve enjoyed living in my Kiez so bonus points if you’re also Wedding-based!
