Zwischenmiete in Unninähe / Room available for the summer term 2023

Das Wohnheim ist ca. 5 Minuten Fußweg von den Stationen Babenhausen Süd und Voltmannstraße der Linie 3 entfernt, mit welcher man in wenigen Minuten in der Innenstadt ist.
Zur Uni kommt man am besten mit der Linie 31 ab der Haltestelle Hainteichstraße - wenn einem die Fahrzeiten mal nicht passen, kann man aber auch problemlos zu Fuß (ca. 25-30 Minuten) und mit dem Fahrrad (ca. 10-15 Minuten) zur Uni kommen.

An der Haltestelle Babenhausen Süd befindet sich gleich ein Penny aber auch Rewe, Lidl und Aldi kann man zu Fuß gut erreichen.

You can reach line 3 which takes you to the city center within 5 minutes by foot - the stations Babenhausen Süd and Voltmannstraße are both pretty close by.
To get to the university, I'd recommend you take bus 31 (it also leaves at Babenhausen Süd, but the bus stop Hainteichstraße is the one I usually take to take the bus). If you don't wait for the bus, you can also reach the university by bike (which will take you about 10 to 15 minutes) or by foot (which will probably take 25 to 30 minutes).

At the station Babenhausen Süd, there's a Penny on the other side of the street but you can also reach Rewe, Lidl and Aldi on foot.

Deine Mitbewohnerin ist Luise (21). Sie studiert Grundschullehramt mit integrierter Sonderpädagogik und möchte im Sommersemester mit ihrem Master beginnen. Wenn sie nicht gerade mit Unisachen beschäftigt ist, liest sie, trifft sich mit Freunden, macht Yoga, geht spazieren oder kocht gerne. Außerdem lernt sie gerade an der Uni Italienisch. Mit ihr muss man sich definitiv keine Sorgen ums Verhungern machen! :D
Das WG Leben ist entspannt. Wir haben einen Putzplan, aber wenn es mal nicht geht, ist das auch vollkommen okay. Wir machen gerne Filmabende oder sitzen bei einem Glas Wein zusammen und quatschen (im Sommer dann auf der Dachterrasse). Einkäufe, die wir zusammen benutzen (wie z.B. Putzsachen oder wenn wir zusammen essen) teilen wir uns (wir benutzen dafür eine App, du und Luise müsstet klären, ob ihr das genauso handhaben wollt), ansonsten kauft jeder für sich selbst ein.

Da wir die LGBTYA+ Community unterstützen und Freunde von uns dazu gehören, wäre es wichtig, dass du diesbezüglich offen bist.

Your flatmate is Luise (21). She studies primary school education with special needs pedagogy and is planning to begin her masters in the summer term. If she is not busy with uni things, she reads a lot, meets up with friends, does yoga, goes on walks, or cooks. She also started learning Italian with a language course at university this semester. With her, you definitely don't have to worry about starving! :D
The flat life is pretty chill. We do have a cleaning plan, but if you can't do it in your week because life just got in the way, that's totally fine. We like to do movie nights or sit together with a glass of wine and talk (during the summer months on our rooftop terrace). Groceries that we share (e.g. cleaning supplies or if we eat together) are split (we use an app for that, you and Luise would have to talk about how you two want to do that), otherwise everyone does their own thing.

We fully support the LGBTQIA+ community and have friends who are a part of the community so it would be important that you tolerate that.

Da die Zwischemiete über das Studierendenwerk abläuft, musst du so weit ich weiß 300€ Kaution zahlen, welche du beim Auszug wiederbekommst. Du musst dich zudem auf der Webseite des Studierendenwerks anmelden, aber das ist kein Hexenwerk. Das Internet wird nicht gestellt sondern läuft über mich - wie wir das mit den 20€ pro Monat machen, müssten wir noch klären, aber ich bin da flexibel.
Du musst eingeschriebe*r Studierende*r an einer Hochschule sein, um das Zimmer mieten zu können.

As the rent is going through the dormitory owners (the Studierendenwerk), you have to pay 300€ caution before moving in, but you'll get it back once you move out. You also have to register on their website in order to move in, but it's not difficult and I could help you with the paperwork if needed. As we have to organize the internet on our own, we'd have to figure out the payment of 20€ per month as I am the one to pay for that but I am open to suggestions.
You have to be a student at University or the Fachhochschule to rent the room.
