Our beloved flatmates Simon and David are unfortunately moving away, so we are searching for new flatmates for the beginning of August (and September: see David's room ad).
Simon's room has 12,22 square meters (2,32m x 5,27m), and is the second smallest room in the apartment. The windows looks towards the backyard, so you will not be disturbed by the street sounds. It has a wooden floor (like the rest of the flat, except for bathrooms and kitchen) and the price is so low (€ 346,6 with everything included) because the building is owned by a company, so only the 2nd and the 4th floor are WGs, while the other two floors are offices.
The flat is ~117m2 and has in total 4 bedrooms, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen (including dishwasher, washing machine and two fridges), two bathrooms (each one shared by two of the tenants), a lift, a bike storage room, and a cellar.
Simon is leaving his bed, his white wardrobe and the wall shelves (check the room pictures) for free.
The flat is ~6 minutes away by foot from the Bundesrechnungshof tram stop, ~3 minutes away by foot from Arndtstr. bus stop, and ~12 min by foot from Hauptbahnhof. There are a couple of supermarkets (Netto, DM and Rewe) 7-10 minutes away by foot, and there is a bakery which makes amazing bread and pretzels 40 meters from the flat. Overall, you won't need to walk more than 10 minutes to find anything you need, and the city center is anyway 15 minutes away by foot.
Your flatmates would be Fariza (29, working at UNEP, from Kazakhstan), Flavia (32, PhD student, from Brazil) and Patrick (31, PhD student, from Brazil).
Flavia also has a dog Peppo who is a part of our WG too! 😛
A few words about our WG life: It is not a Zweck-WG, we all enjoy good food, good wine and each other’s company :D The atmosphere in our WG is nice and relaxed. We all have our work/studies routines, but every now and then we like to hang out together. The apartment is big, so it is possible to have our own private time when needed. Once in a while we also like to make some WG parties to celebrate life dancing with our friends!
Patrick is staying at David's room until the end of August, when he will return to Brazil to finish his PhD. So in September you will have another new flatmate that hasn't been selected yet :)
Our "WG-language" is English.
For the new addition to our WG we would like someone who is friendly, easy-going, social, clean, and who already has WG experience. The new tenant should also like dogs and tolerate dog barks. Peppo is a small young dog that is very happy, friendly and has a lot of energy!
We are looking for someone who would stay long term.
