Wanted: Student Housing in Bonn, year long stay

My name is Caitlyn, I am 23 years old and I am planning to study at UNU and Uni Bonn in the fall, pursuing a master's degree in Environmental Risk and Human Security. I am American, so I speak mainly English, but am working really hard on my German as well. I love the outdoors (hiking, kayaking, biking etc) and am a beekeeper, I love to draw and read and am very easy to get along with.
I am looking for a place with kind roommates who can help me get adjusted to life in Germany, and hopefully become good friends. I only need a place for a year, possibly longer, that will have to depend. I would like a place close to Uni Bonn, but near a bus stop is also OK. I will also be needing a furnished room, at least with basic wardrobe and bed, perhaps a desk.
