Liebe Zukunfts-WG, (ENGLISH VERSION BELOW)

ich bin Julia (30) und suche ein helles Zimmer in einer WG mit herzlichen Mitbewohnis. In meiner aktuellen WG in der Venloer Straße stehen gerade viele Veränderungen an und ich habe gemerkt, dass auch ich mir einen Tapetenwechsel wünsche. Ich könnte eventuell auch mein aktuelles Zimmer in Köln Ehrenfeld tauschen (ca. 22m^2, ca. 390€ mit allem).

Zur Zeit beende ich meinen Master in Interkulturelle Kommunikation und Bildung und arbeite in einer politischen Stiftung in Bonn - zum Teil im Homeoffice. Ich bin gern zu Hause (lese, meditiere, male, schreibe), und eigentlich immer für ein Getränk und einen Schnack mit meinen Mitbewohnis zu haben. Keine Angst, ich geh auch raus... zum Radfahren, zum spazieren oder um Freundinnen zu treffen. Ich mag das Leben bunt und abwechslungsreich - wie ihr mit einem Blick auf mein aktuelles Zimmer erkennen könnt. In den letzten Jahren habe ich überwiegend in Köln gewohnt, war aber auch ein Jahr im Iran, davor in Trier und Basel. Meine Freund_innen sind breit verstreut und es ist mir wichtig, mit ihnen in Konakt zu sein und sie zu treffen. Deswegen telefoniere ich recht oft und bin ich hin und wieder für ein Wochenende unterwegs oder habe Besuch.

Beim gemeinsamen Wohnen ist mir besonders wichtig, dass sich alle wohlfühlen und so zeigen können, wie sie sich fühlen - dazu zählt für mich offene und ehrliche Kommunikation, Interesse aneinander und daran zusammen zu wohnen, aber auch genauso Privatsphäre und eine schöne, saubere Wohnung.

Dear future flat mates,

I'm Julia (30) and looking for a bright room in a shared flat with a warm and welcoming flatmates. In my current shared flat in Venloer Straße, there are a lot of changes ongoing and I noticed that I a change would be good for me as well. Maybe I could also exchange my current room in Cologne (ca. 22m^2, ca. 390€ with everything).

At the moment I am finishing my Master in Intercultural Communication and Education and work in a political foundation in Bonn - partly from home. I like to be at home (reading, meditating, painting, writing), and I'm always open for a cup of tea and a chat with my roommates. Don't worry, I also go out ... to ride my bike, go for a walk or to meet friends. I like life to be colorful and diverse - as you can tell by looking at my current room. In the last few years I lived mainly in Cologne, but I also spent a year in Tehran, Iran, before that in Trier and Basel, Switzerland. My friends are widely spread and it is important for me to be in contact with them and to meet them. That's why I'm on the phone quite often and every now and then visiting them for a a weekend or have visitors.

When living together it is very important to me that everyone feels comfortable and can show how they feel - this includes open and honest communication, interest in each other and in living together, but also privacy and a nice, clean apartment.
