Hi room-seeking girls:)
I will go from mid August till the end of March abroad to do a Erasmus semester and for that I’m looking for a subrent.
So I’m living together with Lasse, Tania and Noah in a townhouse in Bremen-Hastedt.
The house has three floors, with a living room, the kitchen and the dining room (all of those are more or less one big room, but there is also a fancy sliding door to close up the living room). On the first floor we have Lasse’s and my room, a small laundry room and a bathroom. The second floor is inhabited by Tania and Noah. There is also another bathroom on that level. On top of that we have a small backyard with lots of plants and the highlight of the house is probably the roof terrace, which is beautiful in the summer. We also have a little workshop underneath the terrace.
My room measures around 15m2 and would be sub rented fully furnished. You can get an impression on the pictures.
We live close to the river Weser, which can be reached within a 5 min walk. All kinds of Supermarkets are also close by, as well as the tram lines 2, 3 and 10. The 3 will take you to the district “Viertel” within 10 min. This is were most of the Bars are located. Another 5 min and you are in the historic city center. The tram line 10 will take you to the central station in about 15 min. The Uni can be reached with a 25 min bike ride, the Uni of applied science in about 20 min. Hasted is a district with people from all ethnic backgrounds and from all ages. Altogether, Hastedt is a calm and friendly part of the city.
As Tania, Lasse and Noah are working during the week, it’s rather calm before workdays. But we have also hosted several parties on the weekend. As the house is really big for a shared apartment, it offers to invite friends to come over, while everyone can still get their rest upstairs. We like to talk in the evening while having dinner and approximately once a week Lasse’s grandpa is coming for a visit, bringing food for everyone :D he is a very good cook and even considers special needs for the individual.
Tania (33) studied law and has her own NGO in which she organizes the exchanges of young people between Ukraine, Poland and Germany. She’s often on the go and always has a lot to talk about when she’s back again.
Lasse (26) studied Civil Engineering and is now working for an Offshore Wind developer. He likes gardening, football, reading and eating. You can also join him in playing football and Volleyball or go boulder with him.
Noah (26) is our newest roommate. He will move in on the 1st of july. Noah comes from the US and will work as a Barkeeper in Bremen. He likes to read and listening to music.
We don’t have special requirements, except for the obvious ones, that you shouldn’t be racist or homophobic etc. The only requirement is, that you should be able to speak at least a bit of English, as not everyone can speak German in our WG. And please keep in mind, that a big house is also a lot to clean. Please drop a few sentences about you, I will be happy to hear from you!
