I permanently move out of Germany and the room is for 6 Months or 1 Year if the WG life is found compatible.
The room is fully furnished with a self made 140cm x 200cm loft bed, a sofa, a work table, an executive chair, 2 small wardrobes, one mirror, a large canvas etc.
If you have your own furniture, then we can make space for that as well. I assembled the room with everything, so it is best if you take over the furniture.
The WG is 2 minutes from Dorfbrunnen tram station, with Lidl, Edeka / Beckesepp, dm, several bakeries, a Döner place, a pizza place, hair dressers etc all within walking distance.
Ample space for parking bicycle in the basement and ample storage space in the basement cellar.
Quiet neighborhood with occasional evening sounds of birds and kids.
You share the WG with Simon & Jonas. Simon recently completed his Bachelor and searches a job in social work. He likes being outdoors, occasional partying and meeting people. Jonas works as a joiner and likes music.
Kitchen is the meeting place for everything and the highlight of the WG. We share all food items in WG unless mentioned. A fresh organic vegetable basket arrives every fortnight from a nearby farm. We like to cook together in evenings, have a beer, watch a movie, play some music and board games but respect private time as well.
The WG life is very harmonious, we clean the common areas on a weekly rotation and it is appreciated to maintain general cleanliness, specially in kitchen and bath after use.
The rent includes everything: Internet, garbage, heating, electricity, water.
We would like to hear your story and idea of a WG life (generic short replies may not be considered). Please tell us your age, occupation, how long you have been in Freiburg, hobbies, etc.
I have written this in English because my German is really bad but feel free to reply in in German if comfortable. Your future roommates are native Germans.
PS: if you like to cook, do mention that!
