The room is fully furnished and bright with large windows. It is located on the second floor of the house, on the same floor as the shared bathroom with shower. The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, refrigerator and dishes and is located on the ground floor. You can also use the washing machine and dryer in the basement. You are also welcomed to use the garden and the terrace.
The house has a total of three floors, of which the top two floors are rented.
The house is centrally located in the Herdern district on a quiet street. From here you can get anywhere quickly by bike (approx. 10 minutes to the city center or to the university). If you prefer to travel by bus and tram, you can reach the bus in 3 minutes on foot or take the tram from Okenstraße (approx. 10 minutes walking distance).
Shops such as Kaufland, Aldi and Lidl are about 5 minutes away by bike or 10 walking minutes. There is also a bakery just around the corner.
You will live with Yawei, Aijun and Zhengguan. All three are Chinese and are doing their doctorate here in Freiburg. They spend a lot of time at the university but in the evening and weekends they like to spend time together such as cooking or playing ping pong.
I, Lars, don't live in the house myself, I only come by on Tuesdays and Thursdays to work in a room on the first floor in the home office. So if you need something or something needs to be repaired, you are very welcome to tell me personally or at any time via our WhatsApp group so that I can take care of it.
My brother, Matthias and I, are the landlords and therefore your contact persons. It is very important to us that everyone in the house feels comfortable and gets along well with each other. Therefore, it is important to us that you meet us and Yawei, Aijun and Zhengguan before moving in. Since all of your flat mates speak Chinese, it would definitely be a plus if you can speak Chinese as well.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
