Are you an international student looking for a nice WG in Freiburg?
Room
The room is quite spatious (25 m2) and fully furnished. The big couch and table in one part of the room provide an opportunity to invite friends to come over, while still having pleanty of space for the bad and personal belongings on the other half of the room.
The house is situated on a hill so the two windows in this room don t get direct sunlight.
The rest of the flat consists of a hallway, a (somewhat small but well equipped) kitchen, a bathroom with shower and sink and another bathroom with a toilet + sink. Also two other WGs live in the two floors above us.
Location
Herdern is a beautiful neighborhood, close to nature (5 min walking and you are immersed in the Schwarzwald-forest and you can easily also reach Schlossberg and several other viewpoints).
It doesn't take long to get to the city (by bike it's only a few minutes, by tram/bus you can take line 4 to Tennenbacherstr./Hauptstraße and there is also bus line 27, which stops about 500m from the house).
The location is thus clearly one of the plus points of the WG.
WG life
At the moment Anna with her cute hamster Klausi (she is from Barcelona, studies renewable energies in her master, speaks fluent German) and Vini (from Brasil; currently doing his internship in renewables) and Lukas (From Italy, doing the masters degree in Biotech) live in the WG.
Both German and English are spoken in the WG, but also other nationalities are represented.
We are all open for a little chat in the hallway, and sometimes we also cook together or do a Spieleabend.
As an example we recently did the first barbecue of the season in the garden and also homemade pasta, so clearly our WG likes to interact.
However, of course you are also free relax and enjoy your privacy as much as you like.
Room visits are organized in the evening so that if interested you have the opportunity to meet the members of the WG.
