The house is on two floors. On the first floor, there is a big bedroom, a bathroom with a bathtub, a big living room with a balcony, the kitchen (also with a small balcony), and a small room that can be either used as an office or can also be an extra small bedroom. On the upper floor, there are other 3 bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower. Hence, the house is suitable for 4 or 5 people. We are currently 5people (with you), should we be 4, we would have to divide the rent accordingly (and it would be 590€), but this is just a remote possibility;)
The room that you will have, is a 15m2 room on the upper floor (see pictures).
The house is already furnished.
There is also a bike shelter and the space for a car (not covered).
The house is in a really cool position!
Less than 10 minutes from the pedestrian area but not crowded with tourists! Everything is reachable with a 5-10 minutes walk (3 supermarkets at 500-600 m, 2 pharmacies, some restaurants and other shops...).
It's in front of the Loisach, so we have a nice view from the balcony, and 5 minutes to some of the paths that lead to the Kramerplateauweg (so it's perfect for jogging or walking in the forest).
I am Anna, I am from Italy and I work in Garmisch at IFU (Institut für Meteorologie und Klimaforschung) as a post-doc.
The flat will be shared also with Valeria (also from Italy and also post-doc at KIT), Helena (PhD student at KIT, from Germany) and Konstantin (from Germany, fisherman and card player but also with a job that I don't know exactly how to describe :p)
With us lives also Liesl, a thin and always hungry cute old cat :)
We are not party animals, but we sometimes enjoy nice dinners together. This doesn't mean that you need to join us if you are asocial... we value your freedom :p
Our landlady is super cool!
We are looking for a relaxed and nice flatmate. If you are fun it's better, but it's not a strict requirement :)
