The room is 20 square metres and located on the first floor of the two-storey shared flat. You have two other flatmates on your floor. The room has its own washbasin, so there is never any congestion in the bathroom. There is already a nice loft bed in the room (you can take it over or take it down for free), there is plenty of storage space underneath and you can sit upright comfortably on top.
The room is nice and bright, but the view is rather semi, because after a few metres there is a wall of the house.
On the second floor is the bathroom with another toilet and the shower/bathtub. This is also the most important place in the flat-sharing community, the well-equipped kitchen. You have your own compartment in the fridge and a cupboard for food.
The flat-share is in the backyard, there's space for bikes or nice barbecues in our self-built seating area, in the lockdown we started gardening here desperately. The flat-sharing community is directly opposite the old cemetery and the pub. In the same way, you can quickly reach the swan pond and have a walk! We only share the house with a shop (formerly physiotherapy) downstairs, but the shop is empty at the moment. So in the evenings and at weekends we have the house to ourselves.
We are the Nahrungsberg WG: Lena (24), Ezgi (25), Franzi (30), Nicolas (30) and Franzi's young dog Levi (0). We are all studying something, sometimes more, sometimes less, we also have jobs and many nice hobbies, just like that. But the important thing is that we all enjoy living together. The kitchen is the centre of our shared flat. It's where we meet early in the morning, stressed out, before university for a coffee, which we always share. Here we chat for hours and seamlessly move from coffee to beer and cigarettes. We tell each other about our lives, heartbreak, love, university stress, anything can be brought up and someone will listen. There is a lot of laughter. Sometimes we hardly show our faces and miss each other, only to burst into jubilation when a lost child reappears in the kitchen two days later.
When there's not a pandemic, friends are welcome and you can always join them, spontaneous feasts in the kitchen are welcome. If something doesn't go the way it should, we tell each other, but always try to be emphatic.
Most of us eat little to no meat. We share some food (onions, potatoes, spices, olive oil, bread). The costs for this are financed from a WG fund into which we pay 15 euros every month, from which we also pay GEZ and our internet. We have a weekly cleaning schedule: Whoever's turn it is has to clean all the common rooms and then has five weeks of rest, phew.
The room will probably become available on 15.05., but moving in at the beginning of June is absolutely possible.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or if you want to drop by:)
Feel free to write a few sentences about yourself in the message. About what you like to do and how you like to live together. Or just anything:)
