Schönes Zimmer in moderner 3er WG mit Balkon - Nice room in a modern shared flat with balcony

Die Lage ist eine schöne Kombination aus ruhig und praktisch. Quasi nebenan befindet sich ein REWE, ein Döner-/ Pizza-Imbiss und ein paar Querstraßen bergauf sind ALDI und tegut. In die Innenstadt baucht man mit dem Fahrrad nur 5 min (weil bergab), zu Fuß ca. 15 min. Zum Hauptcampus und zu Uniklinik sind es mit dem Rad ca. 10 min und zu Fuß ca. 20-25 min. Quasi direkt vor der Haustür fahren auch die Linien 91/92 (Görlitzer Str.) und 71/72/73 (Lönsweg), mit denen man in 10-15 Minuten sowohl die Innenstadt als auch den Bahnhof ohne Umsteigen erreicht. Besonders toll ist der Blick vom Balkon in die grünen Gärten der Nachbar*innen und in weniger als 5 min ist man zu Fuß im Stadtwald oder in weniger als 10 min bei den Schillerwiesen, sodass man problemlos unseren kleinen Grill und einen Kasten Bier dorthin tragen kann. 😉

Die WG verfügt über ein modernes Bad mit Duschwanne und eine kleine aber feine Küche mit allen notwendigen Küchengeräten und Spülmaschine. Da wir kein Wohnzimmer haben, findet das WG-Leben vor Allem in der Küche und auf dem Balkon statt, aber auch bei spannenden Diskussionen im Flur oder zu einem Filmeabend mit Amelies Beamer. Zusammen kochen oder einfach gemeinsam essen passiert regelmäßig aber ungezwungen und sehr oft hat man die Gelegenheit Amelie und Urs mit einem Kaffee in der Küche anzutreffen. Wir haben auch ein kleines Kellerabteil und eine Waschmaschine, sowie ausreichend Fahrradständer hinter einer Hecke vor der Haustür.

Amelie studiert Development Economics (Wirtschaft in Entwicklungsländern) im Master und Urs arbeitet schon. Allgemein führen wir ein herzliches, kommunikatives und sich gegenseitig unterstützendes WG-Leben. Wir würden uns daher sehr freuen, wenn du auch eher am Zusammenleben mit Freund*innen als an einer Zweck-WG interessiert bist.
Definitiv keine Lust haben wir jedoch auf rechte/ nationalistische Einstellungen sowie Rassismus, Sexismus, Homophobie und jede andere Art von Diskriminierung.

We are Urs (27) and Amelie (24) and we are looking for a roommate for our beautiful shared apartment. The free room is located on the first floor, about 14-15 square meters and it is rectangular with nice floorboards. It has a big window but it remains pleasantly cool in summer.

The balcony is available to everyone in the WG and has just been redesigned with nice furniture.
The WG has a modern bathroom with a shower tub and a small but nice kitchen with all necessary kitchen appliances and a dishwasher. Since we do not have a living room, the WG life takes place mainly in the kitchen and on the balcony, but also during exciting discussions in the hallway or at movie night with Amelie's beamer. Cooking together or just eating together happens regularly but informally and very often you have the opportunity to meet Amelie with a coffee in the kitchen. We also have a small cellar compartment and a washing machine, as well as sufficient bicycle racks in front of the front door.
The location is a nice combination of quiet and convenience. Quasi next door is a REWE, a kebab/ pizza takeaway, and a few cross streets uphill you can find ALDI and tegut. The city center is only 5 minutes away by bike (because it's downhill), and about 15 minutes on foot. The main campus and the university clinic are about 10 minutes away by bike and 20-25 minutes on foot. Bus lines 91/92 (Görlitzer Str.) and 71/72/73 (Lönsweg) go right outside the front door, and you can reach both the city center and the train station in 10-15 minutes without changing buses. Especially great is the view from the balcony into the green gardens of the neighbors and in less than 5 min you can walk to the city forest or in less than 10 min to the Schillerwiesen so that we can easily carry our small barbecue and a crate of beer there 😉.

Amelie is studying Development Economics in the Master's program and Urs is working. In general, we lead a warm, communicative, and mutually supportive flat-sharing life. We would therefore be very happy if you are also interested in living together with friends rather than in a functional flatshare.
