looking for 6 months accommodation

I am Andrea Ferrarini, a future visiting PhD student at Gottingen University from Catholic University of Piacenza (Italy) and I’m looking for an accomodation.


I'm now in Gottingen to spend my PhD period abroad and I will stay there for six months (till april).

What about me?

I’m a 27 y italian PhD student. I was born in a little town in northern Italy and I graduated in Venice in Environmental Sciences. After that I started my PhD in Piacenza at Agronomy department.

I think to be an open-minded person and I've been sharing flats since I started my studies years ago (I speak only English But I will try my best of course to learn German as much as possible). I love cooking , travelling, staying with easy-going people , speaking about everything, doing always new experiences. I’ve always worked during my past studies to be fully independent and gain some extra money to have fun with my friends. (P.S. I have worked as assistant cook and my italian typical dishes are famous among my friends ☺ )

I played several sports (climbing, football and tennis) for 12 y and since few years I‘m discovering a new passion: agriculture (with some friends we are cultivating some hectares).

Why am I coming in Gottingen?
I’m doing a PhD in soil microbiology. To improve my knowledge on these topics I tought the best place it would have been to come in Gottingen.

What do I expect from my experience in Germany?

I would find a good accomodation, but in particular meeting nice and friendly people as much as possible. For the best district I read that Innestand is perfect and central to live. As i told you I will stay for 6 months and as you can imagine I want to live intensely the city center in all of its aspects and not only having a great professional experience. Furthermore, I will come by car and for this reason I will use it to visit germany.
